M&Ms Droplets
now that’s what photography should be about… not a black and white picture of someone’s shoes
The top picture is full of M&M’s. They’re bule, red, orange, green, yellow, and brown.
But in the bottom picture we clearly see there’s white, pink, and even purple candies in the bowl.
The bottom picture is of gumballs! This concludes that the bottom picture is not taken with that camera at all. I’d even go as far to say that it was edited in photoshop with a filter!
Yes the above image and the below image are not the same photograph being taken. This is rather obvious.
BUT Mr. Wright there is one thing you overlooked. Examine the droplets on the bottom image. None of them are from the same angle. This is a natural occurance when looking through water droplets.
Is it not possible that the photographer took the second image first?
Would it not be more probable that when asked HOW it was taken he/she took the above image of their setup Using M&Ms, something much more common in a household rather than many gumballs, something they may have just bought for the original photo?
So to claim it was not taken with the same camera is indeed a long shot Mr. Wright.

Really Edgeworth, is that you’re argument.
Aren’t you overlooking the fact that there are no pink M&Ms. This proves undeniably that these are not, in fact M&Ms, but some other kind of candy.
And one other thing, I find it highly improbable that not one piece of candy is facing so the M logo is on the candy.
So in conclusion, there is no way these are possibly M&Ms.
hey mister I think you’re confuuuuuuused. Edgeworth agreed that they weren’t M&M’s. He was just refuting that there is a possibility there wasnt any photoshop used and that the above image was only depicting the method used in the bottom image.

Everyone seems to be walking around the accusations by examining whether they are or aren’t M&Ms. That is not what’s important. What we should be looking at is instead, the so-called droplets, compared to the background image.
The angles within the droplets do not realistically coincide with one another! As well, I don’t spend much time staring at drops of water, but I can surely say I’ve never seen such clarity in any water droplet. Also, as in the former picture, there is an obvious fogging on the glass, surely caused by whichever process was used to spray the water. Where is the fog?
On top of all that, the drops are amazingly tiny compared to the anonymous-candy. One could argue the sheet is further away than in the ‘example’ pic, but the blurring of the candies definitely objects to that. We could also try to assume that the spray method used in the ‘original’ photo caused much tinier water spots, but are we to believe that the photographer was so careless that they couldn’t recreate the correct droplet size in the ‘example’? Surely, they should have been able to cause at least a closer resemblance.
Sure seems like they went out of their way to showcase the methodology of how the photograph was taken, yet neglected to go far enough to ensure it could be a like-comparison?

I have found some new evidence though the original image source suggesting this second image has been tampered with!
This image clearly shows candies that correspond to the colours commonly found in M & M s… The edge of the bowl is visible, as are some ‘M’ symbols, if you look closely.
This suggests the second image in the original is perhaps just a fabrication based off of the second.
Therefore…
It is clearly a fraud!
You shouldn’t jump the “fraud” gun just yet, Wright. If your source is really the corresponding photo to the first, then the “gumball” picture in question might not be at fault. To put it bluntly, it might just be a copycat.
To put it another way, this could just be a case of a mistaken and mismatched photoset..
With all the evidence provided, I think it’s safe to assume this case could be solved: The candies in the second photograph are not M&Ms, but the photo itself was not exactly tampered with. It was just a completely separate photo of separate candies, possibly just misplaced in this set by the original poster, who was completely unaware of the mismatch!

*Sol sat against the rocky surface of the side of the law firm, staring off into the storm as other pokemon near the front of the base busied themselves with conversaton and walked about as they waited for their allowance into the tunnels. She felt stiffened from the cold and ice, wishing her team mates would hurry up so she wouldn't have to be alone*
*She has done enough obseving, and was just about to hop out of her 'outlook' when she saw someone, and a Miss Solitaire no less! Oh this couldn't get any more perfect, she thought. It was only after Solitaire seemed the least bit settle that she finally decided to speak* "What a sight to see... a Dragon of Legends throwing a temper tantrum... what other way to describe it, really? Hah! How pitiful... It seems that when things go even slightly wrong, they all scramble. What do you make of all of this, 'Sol'?"
*the moment the voice spoke up, Sol jumped onto her feet and tensed, looking from side to side to search for the source* Who's there?! *She growled, eyes still searching the snow and mist for the girl. The voice sounded slightly familiar...but she couldn't put a claw on it* And how do you know my name?!
*Nirvana, to say the least, was quite amused... Hmm... she thought she has outgrown that little 'manipulation' game she used to play. Nonetheless, there would be time to reserve herself later, right now, it was time to test her old 'firend''s state-of-mind... Hopefully, this will be the last time she ever shows a remote interest in others, she's seen it all anyway.* "Huh, you don't remember? We worked together during our 'adventure' to Monochrome Tower. If you cannot put your brian to use for things such simple things, I have to wonder how you even manage to keep up with that boyfriend of yours. To put it simply: look up, you'll see who I am."

*Solitaire's eye twitched when she heard that word. "Boyfriend", and snapping her head up, she was greeted by the sight of the Zorua from weeks before, when they had been a part of the same mission. But she was shocked, nonetheless. She had been told by the other team they worked with, Team Corrosive Mordant, that she was in a critical condition...then again, it had been a few weeks. Maybe things turned out for the better and she managed to recover well. Solitaire wasn't quite sure how to react anymore, though. Nirvana had hinted that she was stupid...* Hello...*she greeted dully, leaning back against the Law Firm and eyeing the Zorua*

*Nirvana couldn't help but feel a smile cross her face, after years of practice back in New York, she had learned to tell when something was wrong with others, and she'd used that to break her brother more than once. This time was no different.* "Greetings, Solitaire... You seem to be, ah.... bothered by something, would you like to tell me what's been going on in the hours that everything's happened?"
*she twitched at this, her mind immediately returning to the Zoroark and Smeargle she had left behind. The two pokemon were currently taking care of whatever mission they had, inside of the tunnels, but...still....* *she shoved the thoughts right out of her head. She didn't want to think about them...them and their lies. So crossing her arms and turning her head to look back out into the storm, she replied* My team and I had to seperate for a bit...that's all. I'm a little...worried about them. I'm still waiting for them...especially Solace. I don't know where he's at whatsoever...but that's all. Right now, I'm just...waiting.

(The thing Nirvana's trying to do is tell everyone she sees about seeing Pal and Palette, she doesn't suddenly know about Solitaire's previous... uh... thing. She's just trying to make everyone feel betrayed about Palette.)
*Sol's heart slightly skipped a beat when the Zorua mentioned the two artists. 'What...the hell...?' Solitare looked up at Nirvana and gave her a hard stare* Oh did you, now...? Strange world indeed... *she muttered bitterly, crossing her arms harder and staring at the base of the tree. 'Arceus, why does she have to keep making me remember?' She dug her toe-claws into the snow, trying to keep her mind focused and away from thoughts of the two* And my team had to leave to check on the village, since they sensed stuff, that's all. They didn't "leave me behind" or whatever. They're gonna come back once they're done.
(Oh yeah. And thanks for that piece of info! I was actually wondering about that as I was typing when you told me that. XP)
*'Checkmate.' The Zorua thought to herself, 'It's only a matter of time now.' And she continuted on.* "Oh? Hm, yes, indeed it is, you know, others that I've told felt betrayed, they said things like 'but why would she fake her death like that,' and 'ha! yeah right!' You, however, you're reaction was a bit different- you seem... tense. Is something the matter? Or are you one of those pitifully incompetent tools that believes in the dead rising from their graves?"
*'What...?!'* Of course not!! *Solitaire snapped, taking a step forward and scowling at the Zorua. With every single thing she had mentioned, Solitaire felt her chest tighten more and more as she was only reminded of the conversation. And now, she was being insulted...she wasn't going to tolerate it. She wasn't going ot be called a TOOL.* Of course the dead can't come back!! Palette is simply a fake, and that's that! She may still be alive and walking around, but...! *she gritted her teeth, lowering her head and staring at the ground as she clenched her fists* She's dead to ME at least...
(btw, I'm going to have to stop RP-ing at 11. Er...in 38 minutes. xD We still have time, but I thought I should tell you. :3)
*That was all it took, for the first time in a long time, Nirvana laughed. It was a sickeningly bitter, mocking laugh, she'd never heard anything so pathetic, it disgusted her. She stopped laughing and dropped her smile, it all became obvious with those last three words.* "You're so easily cornered, let me guess, you found Pal and Palette and felt they 'betrayed' you, right? I've spent years reading and observing other Pokemon, I can read you like a book. Hah! What? You think they're going out of their way to avoid you because you're so special or something? Don't be so vain. Don't you see, this was all just an accident. Pallete was hiding her face from everyone, and you just happened to find them. Nothing more, nothing less, you're no more important than anyone else, and I'm sure that they would have done the exact same thing if it were me, or Cedric, or even your little friends." *Of course, Nirvana could only assume Solitaire had happened upon Pal and Palette, she only had so much information to go on, and it was just an assumption... she's never tell Solitaire that, nor anyone else, she enioyed to false omnicience impression she gave off. And she was not about to give this up.*

*Solitaire opened and closed her mouth, trying to form her words but not knowing what to say. She wanted to yell at Nirvana that she was wrong, but....was she...? Was...was she really only thinking of herself?* But...she was still my friend...! She should've told me if she was hiding...! Or Pal should've...! *she argued weakly, but the more she thought about it, Nirvana was right. She WASN'T special. The friendship she managed to create with Palette probably wasn't as special and significant to her as it was for Sol. The artist probably had a lot of friends. Solitaire...was just someone she met on occasion and was nice to....that was all. There was nothing more to it.* *she searched Nirvana's eyes, trying to find an escape from ths predicament she was in. She had said all of those things to the artists...they even tried to tell her, but she wouldn't listen. She wouldn't listen....* DAMN IT!! *Solitaire's frustration reached it's breaking point and, pulling back her claws, she Slashed at the trunk, digging her claws into the bark. She glared at the ground, trying to make sense of everything...*

I like that, especially since I had to think of ways to draw it out like that without making Nirvana seem like she was psychic, which was insanely difficult... I'm not even sure how to reply... Maybe we could both use this? If you wanted to... I was just going to think of something for my Rescuers to do, but this is so much better. I'VE FINALLY STARTED TO LEARN HOW TO USE CHARACTR DEVELOPMENT. YES.)

XP As long as you make it obvious that she had some prior knowledge on things (such as the fact that she knew about Palette and Pal to begin with and was talking to everyone about them), then the reader will assume that she's doing the exact same thing to Solitaire. Except it's so ironic and coincidential for HER, since things actuall went on and Nirvana doesn't know about it. (Having someone slap reality in Sol's face is interesting~ She'll think more about friendship and how significant it is...which can also be a bad thing. (Really? Oh my God, thank you! I'm so glad we could roleplay, we should totally do it again! This has really healped me out, and I'm glad it worked vice-versa as well! I LOVE Sol, and I'm glad I could help with developing her like this! 8D)
(But! If you're REALLY planning on making a comic for this or something, I won't have to do anything at all~ xD It could be like Mission 4, where I didn't contribute to it (in this case I kinda did, but still. xD), but it's still a part of my storyline and I still link it with my other comics. ^^ So that could happen too~
