Retro Little riding hood and her cat On an August day, before I injured my foot (it's better now), I went on a long walk and stumbled upon a very whimsy café called 花ト喫茶 ネコノコバン (Flowers and kissa Nekonokoban). I also included another (more lazy) outfit I did earlier that week, which prompted the scarf hairdo of the outfit featured first - see my Instagram post for pictures of that. Outfit rundown: Dress: second-hand Ank Rouge Cardigan : second-hand Milk Bag: thrifted Shoes: Yosuke Socks+scarf: Daiso(or Cando, I don't remember) Angry cat pin: second-hand Candy Stripper ¥10 pin: Likesloveslikes Other brooches are from various other sources Sunglasses: thrifted

Back in early August, Iona and I tried (keyword here) to visit the café situated in the old library of Keio University, but no one thought it would be a good idea to inform visitors that the library (and café) were closed during summer vacations. Since we made the effort to go all the way there, we took a few pictures, and head to Jinbocho, where I still had a lot of unvisited kissas on my Google maps list. Kissas visited that day: Ladrio, Milonga Nueva and Gallery Koseto. (pictures on those on my Instagram post and Twitter)

Once again, it was hot and far too humid for any kind of layering, so I did another sacrilegious outfit using lolita brands in a non-lolita way.

Dress: second-hand Alice and the Pirates Hat: second-hand Baby, the Stars Shine Bright Bag: Axes Femme (with added vintage wood bus pass) Shoes: second-hand Queen Bee Parasol: Alice and the Pirates House pin: handmade by a friend Other pins: Design Festa

1920s-inspired fashion for yet another oppressively hot and humid early August day I normally wear this dress with a belt to bring up the waist and create a poofy top, but it was 38°C with more humidity than a pool that day, so I didn't want anything that would break the airflow in my dress, which is why I went with the full 20s dropped waist and created an outfit around that. Dress: thrifted Ingeborg (Pink House) Hat: vintage Shoes: Hotter Shoes Bag and parasol: thrifted Axes Femme Flower corsage at the hip: Pauline Rose Earrings: Phantom Jewelry Brooches: vintage and handmade Jade bracelet: gift

This is @sapphira-doll and I's third and last twinning, this time with the best piece we have in common: Mary Magdalene's Claudette OP. We have now exhausted the pieces we have in common, but we sure ended with a bang. We kept the outfits simple and summery for weather reasons.

That day was supposed to be cooler, but still ended up being above 30 and humid. We met with Mia (behind the camera) in Kichijouji, and she wore a similar dress to ours, but since it's not exactly the same, I am keeping our triplet pictures, as well as the restaurant's pictures, for next post.

My outfit: Dress: second-hand Mary Magdalene Gloves: vintage Shoes: second-hand Queen Bee Stamp patch brooch: second-hand Jane Marple Basket brooch : Design Festa Hat: modified Daiso

I just turned 34 years old (August 3rd), so here's a blasphemous camiloli outfit because who cares about rules - or anything really? It's way too hot anyway. Here's to another useless year!

Outfit rundown Skirt: second-hand Innocent World Bag: second-hand Mary Magdalene Shoes: Hotter Shoes Jewellery: a combination of vintage, thrifted and various artists

"Sleep, delicious and profound, the very counterfeit of death" -The Odyssey Hence begins my high summer, very hot weather posting (I'll be honest with you, I "read" The Odyssey without reading The Iliad, and by that, I mean I listened to the audiobook read by Ian McKellen.) Outfit rundown Dress: Boutique 1861 Sandals: earth, music and ecology Hair pin: Axes Femme Brooches : thrifted Wedgwood and Design Festa Necklace (that I removed later because even that was too hot for comfort): Axes Femme Parasol : Alice and the Pirates

The light counterpart of my last hydrangea inspired outfit. Looking at them now, I feel like the previous outfit is more "urban melancholic lady" while this one is more "countryside working girl".

Outfit rundown Dress: thrifted (looks handmade?) Apron: thrifted Pink House Top: GU Tights: Little Rose Planet Shoes: second-hand Queen Bee Brooches: thrifted Wedgwood and handmade

Hydrangea season was really short this year because of the long heatwave that dried them all, but I managed to twin with them just before that.On previous years' photos, I usually went for light blue, but this year, I really wanted to go for those gorgeous purple/blue hydrangeas, so I created two looks that reminded me of them: one dark and one light. I'll post the light look in a separate post.

Outfit rundown Dress: vintage; Blouse: The Floral Notebook; Hat: vintage; Umbrella: Alice and the Pirates; Shoes: Queen Bee; Belt: vintage; Jewellery: vintage and thrifted Wedgwood

Back in May, Mia, Iona and I dressed in Taisho Roman inspired outfits to go visit the Matuo Hiromi exhibition at Hotel Gajoen Tokyo, an historical hotel known for its long staircase and gorgeous ceilings. Afterwards, we went to Three Tiers for tea (but honestly, I just got the carrot cake because it was way too hot for tea).

We took so many pictures that day, so I'll have to separate them in two posts (the Gajoen pictures are in my Instagram post). The first picture was taken with a self-timer, while my camera was propped on an aircon on the other side of the street lol.

My outfit consists of an Axes Femme yukata under a second-hand Victorian Maiden skirt with various thrifted and vintage accessories. Mia and Iona's outfits are mainly vintage.

During rainy season, I dressed up for errands and decided to finally visit a local classic music kissa called ミニヨン (Mignon). I've added pictures of the kissa, as well as a few unedited phone selfies of me kissing Madame Bissonnette on my Instagram.
