Oh right while I'm here on Tungle I should tell you the tale of the day I went out to do some adult stuff (ya know paying bills and such) but I was still proper high as shit on my meds. So I did what I needed to do and started to walk home and on the way I passed by a small shop that sells various things to tourists and I absolutely lost my shit
This plushie broke me as a human being I was borderline crying at how funny I thought this dang thing was at the time. I am a 35 year old man and spent $25 just to own orb fox.

I was thinking about how one of my OCs works at the library recently and wanted to design the main librarian.
This drawing isn't actually a commentary on any recent events I just wanted to show that Gene can use their ears for fisticuffs as much as they can use them for gliding lmao.
All the dragon OCs in my toon story are big and pear shaped so I wanted to draw something to confirm that Magimalia's world does actually have dragons of many shapes and sizes!
PS: It may not be obvious just by looking at it but I tried to draw the lineart here in a faster and looser way than usual so hopefully there isn't too many weird mistakes.
Northern banded newt.
Ommatotriton ophryticus, the northern banded newt, is a species of newt in the family Salamandridae. It is found in northeastern Turkey and western Caucasus in Georgia, Armenia, and southern Russia.
It suffers from habitat loss caused forest destruction, dam construction, destruction of wetlands, overgrazing by cattle, urbanization, and pollution. Also predation by introduced raccoons (Procyon lotor) is a major threat. It is also collected for pet trade.
I just remembered I took a photo of Scrafty the other day while tidying up their enclosure a bit.
Also one of the most fascinating things about cresties is they're a color changing lizard. Obviously its not as extreme as what a chameleon can do but the above photo is Scrafty being mostly fired down. In the previous photo I took they were fired up:
Basically they can vary between being a pale yellowish color to being this bright orange brown color. Its pretty neat!

Taking care of a young crested gecko isn't too much work but they sure love to be the literal definition of a "bouncing baby".
(For anyone out of the loop I got a pet gecko recently so I felt like drawing something in honor of it lol)

This is Scrafty. This photo is a few days old and was taken in the adult sized enclosure I had set up because I was expecting a somewhat larger lizard. They've since been moved to a smaller enclosure with paper towel bedding (which is safer).
If you're wondering about their species Scrafty is a crested gecko.
A while back Phoenixtheblade (twitter user) did a stream to bring awareness to the pangolins: a group of cute anteater like mammals which, sadly, are heavily trafficked for their scales. Wanted to draw something for that but I was feeling yucky at the time and only got it down about a week later lol.

Oh goodness I have no clue when I got this ask so hopefully my answer isn't like a year too late. Anyway I haven't any plans to make any in the near future but I'm sure I'll eventually make more. My motivation to make fakemon tends to come and go a lot :3
