***JUNE 2019 UPDATE - need just a little more help***
He graduated with his nursing degree, he successfully passed multiple exams and got his official nursing license!!! And he finally has found a job! He is starting a full time job at Kaduha Distrcit hospital on June 17 (a week from now), but he is very low on money. He needs some money to pay for a rent for a small room there and for transportation to actually get to the new district where he will be working. We hope that this will be the very last ask for help! Daniel’s new job will pay well but he will only start receiving his salary in July.
Daniel needs about $100-150 for rent, transportation and some basic items for his new home so he can cook at home rather than buy food. There are pictures of his license, graduation, and his job offer in the fundraiser.
As a reminder, this is continuous fundraiser, so every time that we’ve needed to raise money, I send it to Daniel as soon as possible, so the sum you see that has been raised is what has been raised over 4 years. I hope this will be the last time we ask for donations and I can close to gofundme after!

**Daniel is in desperate need of $50-60 (42-45,000 RWF) for food and housing!! He is running out of money at the end of this week and doesn’t know what to do!**
Friends, please help Daniel! He is currently at a different more expensive campus where his degree program sent him as part of the program and will again be moving soon - he is running out of money! Next week, he won’t be able to pay for his food or his housing and he doesn’t know what to do, donations are his only option at the moment, as he is moving between places and can’t have a job.
A little later in November, Daniel will also need to pay his tutition for the next semester which will be about $350 with his housing and other fees - please, we helped Daniel get to his third year, let’s help him through it! His other option is to drop out and he is not sure that he can find any kind of a job that will sustain him without a degee. Below is Daniel’s story and a link to the GoFundMe where his fundraiser was previously housed, but was moved due to high donation and withdrawal fees.
Daniel’s parents died in the Rwandan Genocide and he grew up on the streets going through trash for food scraps until humanitarian workers helped him get better and go to school He finished high school and his dream is to become a doctor, so he can give back to the comunity the way the humanitarian workers helped him. Donations helped him get through two years at college and he has been so happy with everything that he’s learning. He’s already had the chance to prove himself many times and even worked at a pharmacy last summer. But during the school year he doesn’t have the option to find a stable, well-paying job, so his only hope are donations! Under the cut is something he wrote for the GoFundMe.
