I've been filing self-employment taxes on commissions for about five years, and after calculating home office expenses (internet costs, rent, equipment, appliances, transportation, phone bill, electric bill, etc) they only reduced my tax refund by $300 or so

should not have looked up how much I’ll owe in taxes as a fully self-employed artist right before my beddy time
