I just beat the single-player mode of Splatoon 3. Holy fuck. This game is really good. The ending is so fucking hype, dear god. And the music is wicked throughout.
Possibly for the first time in Splatoon, this might be a single-player mode that could satisfy those who have no interest in multiplayer shooters.
I need some chamomile to unwind from it.

My ceiling collapsed. <3
A tree fell into our apartment, and today the ceiling gave way. Thankfully nobody was hurt, and there have been a lot of damage to our belongings.
Our apartment complex, however, is terrible, and they're not being very helpful. I know it's shocking to the people of Tumblr dot com, but our landlords cut corners, and I think they're only in this business to take 1/3 of my income for existing.

Please regularly ask yourself why you use social media (including Tumblr) and ask yourself if it's providing anything positive to your life.
I hold no judgment to people who find genuine enjoyment or use social media to make a living, but for everyone else it really seems like the answers to those two questions are "societal pressures, AI manipulation, software engineers, and tech bros have conditioned me to be addicted to constant drama so corporations profit off our collective misery" and "no"
To the folks replying: I'm happy if you're happy so long as you're actually happy. This stupid website obviously has its own negative history, but it sure seems like a far cry from the hell that is other social media sites (at least for right now. It's been terrible before and I won't be shocked if it gets worse again.)
Places like twitter monetize being actively hostile brain rot at the expense of their users, I see that getting far worse for some reason suddenly, and I really just want people to make sure they're taking care of themselves.
