ah. it’s that time of the year where i’m reminded that Takehito Koyasu has a birthday after mine and that I also share it with Daisuke Ono

if anyone is still wondering why the JoJo Wikia at Jojo.fandom.com lost its pink colour scheme for some obnoxious blue (amongst other changes), it’s because the original founders of the Wikia had enough of the policies and changes from Fandom.com and decided to use MediaWiki instead at Jojowiki.com, since December 2019. The former wikia is still being run by other users who have been promoted to Admin when the founders left.

The new JoJo Wiki is a lot more polished, more complete (going by the total number of articles) and has useful pages such as an art timeline of Araki’s work and a gallery of references Araki drew from -- it’s disappointing to see that it’s still the less visited/linked of the two wikis.

i’m almost sure that if the jojo anime came when i was younger i would’ve dismissed it HARD for being one of those animes with extremely unappealing character design and art style. i would’ve probably never gotten into it if my impressions of it were from that

I think we should be drawing Midler in plain clothes more because I can’t believe people are still ok with the “exotic dancer” trope in this day and age! plus the fact that her Heritage for the Future artwork is traced off Yukako, a schoolgirl, is just squicky
