pov you knock on the door to my office. I call "come iiin!" and you turn the doorknob
I'm stapling together some very important looking documents
I have important reminders taped to my computer screen and a desk plant behind me.
"oh hello!! it's nice to see you! I'm a bit busy right now, but would you like to stick around for tea?"
I tell you to make yourself comfortable as I finish up my work real quick. you pop your head into the restroom to wash your hands.
even though the light's turned off, there's a cozy glow emitted from a lamp on the counter.
it illuminates a few appliances here and there, like a toothbrush holder stuck to the mirror.
you make your way to the living room, there's a comfy scent coming from a candle on the table.
I poke my head out of my office, "sorry for keeping you waiting! work's been busy, you know how it is". I make sure to water the plants in my terrarium as I pass it by.
I start some water boiling in the kitchen
you look around my kitchen, taking in the atmosphere and More Appliances^tm.
"alrighty, done!" I pour you a mug of tea.
"I made some snacks too, would you like some?"
I invite you to the garden to have our tea and chat. you step over a few garden decorations,
there's a small pool out there as well.
"ah, enjoying the view? yeah, I spend a lot of time out here, tending to the plants and whatnot."
we chat well into the night, it's so nice to talk again! "well, I should probably let you go." you take one last look behind you as you leave, to wave back at me waving from the front porch.
