There are confirmed to be two designs for Overdress protag Yuyu Kondo, a "male version" and a "female version." Vanguard general producer Keita Mori tweeted today,
"Shouta Aoi (as Yu-Yu Kondo) expressed that "diversity is one of the most essential themes of this anime to me" and "hopefully you will find another part of yourself."
Here's hoping Yuyu, and gender expression as a whole, is treated respectfully in the new series!

I feel like our lab turns into a cooking show when we’ve got big samples to send off because you end up having to slice and dice anything to fit into those tiny sample pots 😂
Legs go in large sample bags with practically every formalin jar in the building emptied into it. :p
