Special thanks to my babe for always being a willing model for me. Here are some shots after I taught a balayage course this morning in salon 🌞 https://www.instagram.com/p/Cf4u9z4sCXF/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Hi guys, (super nervous) I’ve recently been really determined to get into wedding photography in an attempt to be a part in people’s love stories and leave a bit more of a lasting impact on the world. I just wanted to put my name out there in case anyone is looking to book a photographer for their wedding. As I’m currently trying to build a portfolio in this field I am offering a very reduced price, don’t hesitate to get in touch for prices if interested. I also offer hair services as a package deal. luckily I met this amazing couple who trusted me enough to let me shoot their wedding. It was a long day doing hair, make up and photography but I had help from an amazing assistant. More of my portfolio can be found on my website (link in bio). I’ve been trying to post on buying and selling groups but I’m not sure I’m allowed to post services. If people could share this with people they know are getting married and are looking it would mean the absolute world to me ❤️❤️ #wedding #photographer #weddingphotography #weddingphotographer #wimbledon #sw19 #southwestlondon #london #hasselblad (at Hotel du Vin Wimbledon) https://www.instagram.com/p/CdligW5sOvj/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
Seven years ago this lady was booked in with me for a blowdry in the salon and has been with me since. I’ve seen her grow into the most amazing mum to her incredible triplet boys and she is the most wonderful landlady. It was an absolute pleasure to do her hair and makeup for her 40th birthday celebrations tonight ❤️❤️ (at Number Sixteen Hotel) https://www.instagram.com/p/CbBLRcvsPOK/?utm_medium=tumblr

‘Dolphins in Venice’ This project was born from the Covid-19 Pandemic. Having lost an uncle to Covid-19 and gained a niece at the start of lockdown, I was fascinated by how my family were communicating exclusively through digital means and watching life happen through screens. It is an exploration into how we present ourselves online and navigate digital spaces. The work focuses on digital performance, avatars and communication. The full project is split into several chapters, exploring screens, mirrors, human relationships with technology and simulation theory, all of which are more relevant than ever in society when we are all communicating through screens. I have focused on creating spaces within our home that only exist within these photographs and when uploaded online will become exclusively digital spaces. The work was shot entirely in lockdown, at home in our dining room and my partner Aaron models in all photos with garments made by him. The overarching theme of the work is performance and being inside looking out.” https://www.instagram.com/p/CQgFjTCs5Xm/?utm_medium=tumblr

The pandemic had been so cruel to so many creatives in terms of careers and opportunities, one of these being Aaron who was due to complete his masters degree as the pandemic hit. After a creative slump, he recently brought up the idea of completing one of the looks from a previous collection and asked if I would shoot it when complete. In one week had made the garment and also made his first hat! It’s been such a privilege to not only watch this garment be made from start to finish but to bounce ideas around and finally get to photograph it. As we still have no access to models, again Aaron models the garment. #fashion #photography #fashionphotography #hasselblad #wecreate (at Maidstone, Kent) https://www.instagram.com/p/CMzuB3ds5Ta/?igshid=6xpean45x0sk

Some (cropped) test shots of Aaron while working towards my major project ‘Dolphins in Venice’. I mentioned to my tutor @ellennolan69 that I wanted to make a Covid diary documenting the last year in lockdown and on seeing pictures of Aaron dressed as the queen for a WhatsApp group challenge, she wanted me to recreate some of the looks from these. This work has helped inform my major project by exploring gender and performance. Most garments by @aaronchallis_ and a big thank you to him for playing dress up so many times over the last few months... and in the coming weeks https://www.instagram.com/p/CMo5pAzMF8A/?igshid=1jwsr047w3z3c
