“You’re right.” She sits back down and looks at him. “So, what should we do for the time being?” Rice then looks around his place.

“Well, I’ve outfitted this place with enough entertainment so that I basically can spend a full year here... wanna watch a movie?”

She turn to look at him and smiled, “Yes please! What movies do you have? Do you have classic horror, adventure, medieval, fantasy or horror that is so gruesome?”

“Plenty of all of the above. Come on.” He pulled her towards a small room that looked to be a rather nicely decorated home theater.

“No way!” After she enter the small room, Rice was in awe. “Woah! This is so cool!” She walks around the home theater, taking it all in. “Damn Grab, you really are prepared.” She then flashed him a wink. “Definitely the best.”

He blushed heavily when she winked at him and looked aside, “So, uh, what movie would you like to watch? I have quite a few.”

“You’re right.” She sits back down and looks at him. “So, what should we do for the time being?” Rice then looks around his place.

“Oh! Um!” Her face slowly heats up. “My-my bad. How long, uh, how long you’ve been laying like this? Be-because I don’t want to mess up your wirings and uh-”

She was rambling and she quickly closed her mouth with both hands.

“Rice, pal, I love ya, but sometimes you worry too much.” He said with a smirk as he sat up, “It’s been like four hours. We’re safely hidden away in my home again.”

She smiled underneath her hands and leaned forward to him, resting her head on his chest. “I am, huh.” She takes her hands off and place them on the bed. “At least we’re safe.”

“Indeed, though I didn’t want to move. You seemed very comfortable here... probably because I’m running hotter to make it comfy.”

She looks at him, “You were? No wonder it waa comfy.” Rice gave him a smile. “Thanks Grabor, you’re the best.” Then she kiss the side of his helmet, where she thought the cheek was. She got off the bed and start to stretch her hands and legs.

“I try... the real question now is what you have planned. Someone’s out to kill you, and until we know who, anyone and anything could be a threat.”

“I cannot stay in hiding but if I went out.. maybe.” She sits on the bed. “Maybe we could lure them out. I’ll be the bait and you could catch them.” She glanced over her shoulder to look at him. “How’s that? If you have any ideas, I’m all ears.”

“Rice, we don’t even know who’s after you. If it’s someone powerful, I’m not sure I could take everyone they send after you. We need to figure this out first.”

“Oh! Um!” Her face slowly heats up. “My-my bad. How long, uh, how long you’ve been laying like this? Be-because I don’t want to mess up your wirings and uh-”

Rice rolled to her side and said, “Hi Grabor.” Before hugging him. It wasn’t too tight or too loose. It was just right. She then close her eyes, as if she could fall asleep because he was actually warm.

In the end, she did fall asleep.

Grabor chuckled and just let her sleep while hugging him like some giant, robotic teddy bear. He didn’t really mind.

Even though he is an assassin, Rice didn’t mind but now, she is a target. His enemies might hunt her down and use her against him. As long she’s with Grabor, she’s safe.

Rice kept on sleeping. The antidote worked wonderfully well. The purple veins that showed up, are diminishing. Her body is healing. Slowly.

Grabor has Beth pilot the ship back to his little hideaway, on the far side of the moon. They’d be nice and safe in this golden age bunker. Sure, he’d need to keep getting food for her, but that was an easy enough task.

Few hours later, Rice woke up. She doesn’t feel weak or tired. She felt energised and she noticed that Grabor was lying next to her. “Grab?” She gently poke his side. “Are you awake?”

He nodded, “Rice, I think you tend to forget that I’m an exo. We don’t exactly need to sleep.” He chuckled.

Rice rolled to her side and said, “Hi Grabor.” Before hugging him. It wasn’t too tight or too loose. It was just right. She then close her eyes, as if she could fall asleep because he was actually warm.

“Huzzah!” She cheered before laying down with a thud.

He sighed and knew what she wanted, walking over to allay next to her so she could hug him.

“True. Only smart ones stay away from that.” She looks at him. “So... what’s the plan again? Making an antidote?”

“Well unless you wanted to die... Beth is grabbing an antidote from the lab back at my base. Should be able to synthesize a cure quite quickly.”

“I don’t want to die! I want to live.. there’s so many things that I wanna do! Things to see, touch, smell and eat! I wanna fall in love...” She starts to tear up. “....I don’t want to be alone...”

“Hey hey hey, you’re going to be alright, Rice. I am not going to let you die on my watch. You’ll be able to live and love all you want.”
