Aaron, here! Ever wanted to become a part of the 104thvoicesquad? Ever wanted to voice a character in Attack on Space? Ever wanted to hang out with a bunch of losers who stay up until 5am talking about random shit? WELL NOW YOU CAN!
This is good news, right? Well, sort of. It’s good news, and it’s also bad news. Take a seat, and let me explain.
Our Reiner VA, Buda, has recently contacted us and told us that he can no longer do voice work for our group. While unfortunate, do not fear! Progress on Attack on Space will not falter at all; Reiner’s remaining lines for Season 1 were recorded long before this, so we’ll be fine all the way through this season. However, this does mean that we’ll be needing a new Reiner VA, both for potential future Attack on Space content (did I hear someone say Season 2?) and for the manga fandub we have planned.
Buda’s departure from AOTV also coincidentally coincides with something that me and Reuben have been talking about for a while, which is the addition of new members to our team of voice acting misfits. What does this mean for you? Well…
We will be opening auditions for one male and one female voice actor to join our VA team. Is it possible that we could end up recruiting MORE than one male and female voice actor? Yes, it is! Is it likely? Probably not. But I figured I’d just throw that out there, since it’s still a possibility nonetheless.
SO. Let’s get to the specifics of things. I’ll put this under a read more:
