Time for my semi-regular “I’m sorry I’m never here anymore, I love and miss you!” post! Here’s a rundown on what I’ve been up to (if you’re following me on twitter you already know all this, sorry)!

-Still working on Over The Garden Wall! Thanks so much for continuing to buy and support the comic series! The first collected volume just came out, so check your local shops/amazon!

-I’m obsessed with Mass Effect Andromeda and The Adventure Zone right now

-I have an agent now which is weird as heck to me but SO helpful. Related: there’s a pretty neat project I’ll be announcing soon. It’s sort of something a lot of people have been asking me for for a looong time, so hopefully everyone will be excited!

-I’m still living alone in the woods, but now I’m considering a job move that will put me back in the sunny south???? I gotta make some choices.

-I hope y’all are enjoying the Mass Effect Cards Against Humanity pack! Easily one of the coolest things I’ve worked on

-I recently drove from Michigan to Seattle, WA but was stupid and went through Wyoming and nearly died in the snow. So i took like 2 weeks driving back, going down through LA and doing route 66. It was an adventure.

-My next few cons are: Fried Pie Con (Colorado, April 15), C2E2 (chicago, end of April), Heroes Con (Charlotte, NC, June), Magic City Con (Alabama, IDR when), SDCC and, and SPX. There might be more??? I don’t remember man. But please visit me at cons and say hi!

A thread on Twitter this morning. Guys, don’t pirate comics. Please. Comics is a very small (mostly) creator run industry, so when you scan or torrent a comic, you’re directly hurting the creators. Even if you pirate comics from major publishers, you’re really only denying the creators of their income.

Artists/writers who work on comics make next to nothing. It’s commonplace in the comics industry for the people that make them to be constantly struggling to make ends meet. Just buy a book here and there. Support a Patreon. If you like the work, support it. We work very long hours to make the content you’re enjoying. We would like to not have to worry about how we’re going to buy food while we do it.

We co-wrote a new expansion pack with BioWare because we wanted to convince them to let us play Andromeda early. That did not happen, but we did write 14 new cards about Mass Effect.
