I recently remembered that I like the original neopets lamameeah design, its expression is cute and there is something kind of guileless and reserved about it.

Also it took me over 15 years to realize that lamameeah sounds like mamma mia and now it’s fun to say.

This picture feels so much in the spirit of the Zelda scenes/tributes I used to draw on DA in high school, I felt like I was taken right back to that time... Receiving such a response made me feel like falling back exhausted and going... “Oh, I did something again. I finally did something...”

Picking moonberries. They grow on the same bush as toxic death berries, which look identical; the only difference is that moonberries glow in the light of the moon.

I know the juice is red, but I always imagined the glowing moonberries to look like small moons.

#the dragon prince#tdp#callum#ezran#rayla#aquanutart#this was my entry for the tdp fanart contest#it didn't win but i did it more to participate in the community so it's fine#this took all my free time for a week (30 hours) i don't have time to do finished illustrations like this anymore#but this was an idea i wanted to share so i took a shot#it was a pretty broad interpretation of the 'having fun' or 'let's play' theme though#the winners are amazing i hope to see more of the other entries soon!

My second piece for @dragonprinceanthology, Echoes of Thunder, organized by @alchemyartgroup--the final anthology is a huge sturdy book, beautifully printed and just like a tome of legend should be.
