so remember that one time I went to Iceland
……….all of the pictures from that trip absolutely kill me and rip my heart into pieces, BUT
the ones that affect me the most are these
the ones that I didn’t know a picture was being taken
in these moments, I’m 100% experiencing Iceland, and those exact moments were captured on camera forever
and, therefore, these are the ones that make me cry the most
So I finally gained the courage to make a video from Austin’s and my trip to Iceland this spring break.
Even though it has been months, my heart still aches every day to go back, and making this video made it feel real again. We didn’t capture everywhere we went on video, but I think this fairly represents a small bit of how Iceland feels. I hope you like it!

I can't believe I forgot to mention this. This isn't my photo, this is a still from Heima, but on one of our tours we passed by Gamla Borg, where Von was performed in the film.
That was unreal.
this was us on both the north american and the european plates, respectively
The absolute coldest place we went the entire week.
I can't even believe how cold it was here.
It was breathtaking. Almost literally.
Both legitimate candid pictures of us.
There is a hole in my heart for these moments.
