anyone else autistic learned how to talk pretty young? i know the classical expectation is for autistic children to talk later than their NT peers, but i was wondering if it was at all common (especially for hyperverbal autistics) to have learnt early instead? i started speaking at 15mths, and was talking in full sentences by 18months [“you never ever stopped talking”- my mum"], when the expected development is at 18-24 months for words, 24-30months for sentences

yes, I was a very early talker (about the same as you)! I was a late walker tho
