I should be there now. But instead of that I’m listening to the rain drumming on my window. Oh, I don’t mind at all. Really, really, really...
Ilona Staller, Cannes 1988
I had the “privilege” of interviewing her once. Quite an experience. Hilarious in retrospect. She went on to become a politician very, very briefly. It was not yet the age of loliticians. She should maybe try again.
Avant cette guerre, il y a eu d’autres.
Stan Wade, bassist and vox with The Trammps, was a regular in our studio back in the late eighties. We recorded some tracks together (that we are currently trying to restore). But mostly, he helped us in countless ways, adding soul vocals and sharing his incredible experience of years on the road.
We still miss him.
Mr George Williams, lead singer of The Tymes (“So Much in Love”, “You Little Trustmaker”). I was lucky enough to do some recording with him in the late eighties. They were never released.
So now we have to get the tapes restored, remixed and released! Not an easy task.
