Hadith – Rights of a Muslim

A Muslim has five rights on another Muslim:

1 – Return the greeting of salam

2 – Visiting the sick

3 – Following the funeral

4 – Accepting an invitation

5 – Saying Yarhamuka Allah (God have mercy on you) to the one who sneezes

(Bukhari and Muslim)

Explanation:

The Muslims are considered one brotherhood, hence, there are certain rights that each Muslim has on another due to this bond of brotherhood. The meaning of ‘right’ in the hadith is in reference to the right to sanctity and companionship.

Ibrahim 14:40

رَبِّ ٱجۡعَلۡنِى مُقِيمَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِىۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلۡ دُعَآءِ

"O my Lord! Make me one who performs As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât ), and (also) from my offspring, our Lord! And accept my invocation.

Reblog this with a tip for girls who are struggling with modesty, hijab, abaya, jilbab 💗

to all my beautiful sisters, know that with patience and prayer everything is possible. haya is a huge thing to be accountable of, especially as a muslim woman. the hijab is mandatory and rightfully so. it’s changed my life in unimaginable ways سُبْحَانَ اللّٰ, and that’s just another beautiful aspect of such a pure religion. i don’t want to keep this too long though i’m very passionate talking about things like this. just know that even if you don’t wear a hijab (which i must reiterate is fard), slowly implementing things that improve your haya will just add to the abundance of good deeds upon you, no matter how small. Allah sees your efforts. to the sisters reading this, may Allah make it easy upon you with your haya and strengthen you in iman, آمین.

feel free to dm me if you wanna talk about this stuff! i love these conversations 🦋

A few days back I was struggling with the thought of eating outside without taking my niqab off, because my friends and family don't do it, we all wear abayas and niqab but not while eating, and I thought if I'll do it, I'll be the weird one, I'll be the misfit, the odd one out, the stranger. But then I was reading a book in which the main character is struggling with hijab and she says to her friend, “This hijab is making me a stranger to this world.” and her friend replies with this Hadith: Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه reported: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “Islam began as something strange and it will return to being strange, so blessed are the strangers.” (Sunan Ibn Majah 3986) and Subhanallah now I don't get any of those thoughts. A lot of us are hesitant to take the first step because they think what others will say, we are scared of the mockery, but how can we forget about our Prophet ﷺ and his companions, they were called out and mocked too, but then Allāh said “And do not let their words sadden you. Indeed, honor [due to power] belongs to Allāh entirely. He is the Hearing, the Knowing.” (10:65) We all sometimes are hesitant to take the first step because we think that people might not like the way we look, but what about Allāh? Have you ever thought about what Allāh will think about your look? Don't worry about whether people will like it or not, Allāh will love it. Think of this world as a bus stop, sooner or later our bus is gonna arrive (death) and we all will reach our final destination (the hereafter) in islam women are often compared to jewels, think of it this way, what will we feel? When we'll realise that we were so caught up with looking beautiful at that station that we forgot about this, that we were so busy shining at that station that now we have no light left. The day of judgement will be filled with darkness but Allāh Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala will light up the parts of our body that were engaged in good deeds. Why toss that shine away just for this dunya? This dunya is going to end and it has nothing to offer. May Allāh Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala make it easy for all of us and guide us to the righteous path.

After exploring different religions, I ended up falling in love with Islam. I actually took my Shahada recently and I feel great. I've been studying nonstop and I feel motivated to try to be the best Muslim I can be. Sorry if this sounds cheesy, I just had to share this with somebody!

Sabr karne se sabr aajane tak ka safar bohut takleef deh hota hai, koshish itna kare ke koi apki wajah se khuda ke saamne roh kar sabr na mangy kyun ke Allah usko sabar atha karne ke sath sath apko aik amal se bhi guzare ga jisko "makafaat" kehte hai aur wo jan'lewa ho sakta hai

رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِّن لِّسَانِي يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي
