Hi hi! New pages for my Book Of Shadows/Grimoire… Here are pages about Curses and their correspondences, in the middle my WIP for Cleansing and Charging objects, and to the right, my first page about the mysterious and dark Lilith, for I am quite fascinated by her. In my BoS, I like drawing more than writing, so I often illustrate rather than write tons of information! ^^

Can’t wait to finish my pages about Cleansing and curses, as I get inspired by the 2nd Week (for February) of the @2019grimoirecchallenge! I won’t be able to catch up about everything, but I’ll do my best to find motivation through this challenge and finally fill my BoS with all the infos I need ! ;D

Love spells that are GOOD AND WHOLESOME

-Spells to learn to love yourself

-Spells to strengthen the bond between partners

-Spells to clear the air and allow everyone to speak their piece

-Spells that increase lust between CONSENTING partners

Love spells that are NOT OKAY AT ALL NO MATTER YOUR PATH

-Spells to return your ex to you

-Spells to make someone you barely know love you

-Spells that take away a person’s free will to love whoever they want

Love spells that include manipulating someone into doing something they might not typically do also just… don’t really work. And when they do, they will ultimately fail and you’ll be back where you started.

Spells only work if you’re working to put them in motion; they enhance things you are already working towards or will work towards. If there’s no love there… You’re only wasting your time and someone else’s.

The above is really important. Magic in real life is not like in the movies. Magic does not work unless you do. Love spells aside, you still have to talk to the person and think of theirvwsnts and needs, flirt, invite them to hang out, etc. Magic will not lift someone off their feet and to your door to love you. It can only give you a little push of good energy.

My Personal Sea Witch Tool/Correspondence list

In no particular order,

Aquamarine - courage, peace, serenity, intuition, helpful with connecting to the sea in meditation, I often add it to baths or any water spells

Ash - banishing, if the Ash is burned paper in which I have written affirmations or words on, it is stored in a jar/bottle, softening a hard situation or obstacle, release,

Sea glass - glamour spells, illusion, dreams, transformation. Also dependant on the colour can correspond with an intent

Sand - grounding, balance, peace, transition, travel, smoothing things out

Sea Salt - blessings, purification, banishing, I use it to make sea water. Often added to baths

Himalayan salt - love, self love, positive energy, Aphrodite

Seaweed - weather/wind magic, psychic ability, healing

Moon shell - the divine feminine, meditation, peace, tranquility, lunar energy,

Scallops - all purpose, relaxation, spirituality, travel, beauty, the moon

Cockles - centering energy, serenity, tranquility, love

Top shell - helps energy flow

Cowrie - prosperity, the soul, grounding, divination

Auger - protection, masculine energy, focus, air element

Abalone - merfolk, the moon, wisdom, knowledge, energy, balance of emotions

Clam - emotional protection, meditation

Sea water - power, used in all spells, blessings, charging/cleansing items with the power of the sea, energy

Larimar - the ocean, water, dolphins, Atlantis

Black pearls - storms, wisdom, magic, power

These are just my personal associations. May they inspire your craft and the uses you have for your sea items

Protection Satchet

I came up with this satchet because due to recent events in my life, I’ve really needed something like it. This is great for a warding against negativity, evil spirits and curses

“Blessed Be”

I may not be Wiccan, but I can still appreciate the sentiment whenever random peeps say that phrase to me.

Does it make me uncomfortable? Sometimes. Am I going to tell people to fuck off for it? No.

Whether people are telling me to “have a blessed day” or that I’ll be in their prayers, the positive intention is all that matters in my eyes. It’s not a bad thing to want to wish others well, so I honestly don’t see a problem with it.

According to the Old Ways, if any butterflies accidentally cross your path, a divine omen of transformation & change is presented to you, for good or for ill. Prophets of the Old Relifion used to ‘translate’ butterflies, as signals of heavenly intervention & upcoming change - the question is, what kind of omen is this? Moreover, ancient Greeks & Druids believed that sometimes, the butterfly is a disguised human soul, wandering around in a different form & travelling to other realms. Hence, persistent sights of butterflies might be a sign that the dead are trying to speak to you or that a deceased love one is trying to contact you. Here is some insight when it comes to butterflies as omens, & their colours & meanings when you spot them.

🦋 ORANGE BUTTERFLY - spotting an orange butterfly is usually a sign that we need to stay active & optimistic. an opportunity or change is coming & we have to conjoure all our enthusiasm to get the most out of this situation. this could be a new job, a new romantic partner or a new friend. grab this opportunity.

🦋 YELLOW BUTTERFLY - yellow butterflies are not easy omens, as they predict sudden life change. sailors spotting a yellow butterfly - or for other traditions, any butterfly at all - prior to embarking, was a sign that this will be their last journey. however, yellow butterflies are not omens of death, but more a sign to wake up because a new life is awaiting! you need to conjoure all your mental clarity as you are going to have a challenge which will require alertness & creativity.

🦋 GREEN BUTTERFLY - a green butterfly is an omen of good luck, abundance & growth. it tells you that you are on the right track. moreover, if a green butterfly is flying over your head making circles, wealth & healing is on its way. if green butterflies are spotted indoors, then good luck will also come to the one(s) who love there. green butterflies may also mean a promotion, success or unexpected good news such as marriage or pregnancy.

🦋 RED BUTTERFLY - according to the native american tradition, spotting a red butterfly by chance is an omen of very important, life changing news - something huge is coming towards you. red butterflies also symbol souls of the dead & a red butterfly is a very powerful spirit watching over you. therefore, red butterflies demand respect & if treated in a bad way, bad luck will come to the person that harms it, according to some eastern traditions. be careful!

🦋 BLUE BUTTERFLY - blue butterflies are believed to grant wishes & make dreams come true - however, there’s a catch! one should not give up. difficulties may present themselves & you may seem lost, but if you insist, things will change rapidly so do not despair! a blue butterfly will also grant you protection over evil magick & malicious spirits!

🦋 BROWN BUTTERFLY - brown butterflies are an omen of important - usually good - news. most likely, a delayed & long awaited answer will come to you. something you’be been awaiting for too long. this will help you flourish anew & signify a new beginning. patience is required.

🦋 PURPLE BUTTERFLY - purple butterflies are rare & if spotted, a powerful omen has become clear. a very powerful, or rich, or enlightened being will come you way - they may even have a royal origin. these butterflies imply a divine intervention & a release from ones burden.

🦋 BLACK BUTTERFLY - usually interpreted as an ill omen, black butterflies tell us to turn inwards. theirs is magick at work here - either for good or ill. these butterflies are a harbinger of magickal energy, usually coming from Dieties or Witches related with storms, thunder & lightning. moreover, when spotted, change should be anticipated - an end of an era, a break up, a change of heart(s), relocation etc. if you see a black butterfly it’s time to turn inwards, practice some magick & define this energy.

🦋 WHITE BUTTERFLY - these butterflies usually imply the presence of a deceased loved one who is here to protect & guide you. these creatures symbolise life & death, hence, different traditions advise us to do consult our dead ancestors for whatever they may be trying to tell us. some also believe that white butterflies are omens of death, others believe they are omens of independeve & good luck. however, all agree that white butterflies signify a very powerful change related to our legacy & our ancestors. devote something to your dead ancestors asking for guidance. make peace.

Binding Protection Bath

Hey friends! I’ve been really interested in spells and enchantments for transmasculine folks lately, and I wanted to come up with an enchantment for my binder so I put together a soak that I really like! This protection soak is all about securing the wearer from any negative energies- dysphoria, transphobia, misgendering, etc. You can use this on your binders, sports bras, compression shirts and anything else you use to bind!

What you’ll need:

How to do it:

You can repeat this every time you wash your binder, or any time you feel particularly dysphoric, or just need a little confidence boost! I also set a few charms that I use for personal safety and happiness alongside the container while it soaked. If you want to, you can write sigils on the container or place them nearby.

REMEMBER: Try to limit your binding to 6-8 hours at a time, never sleep in your binder, and check to see if it’s safe for swimming and exercising before doing any of those activities. Never bind with tape, ace bandages or anything that isn’t made for chest binding. Stretch regularly and be sure to take your binder off if you’re experiencing any pain or discomfort. Stay safe, friends!
