Louisiana is experiencing the worst flooding in the history of the state.

Over 7,000 people have been rescued and over 5,000 people are in shelters unable to return to their homes. In addition, over 1,000 drivers are stranded on Interstate 12 between Baton Rouge and Slidell, who today received supplies flown in via helicopter. AT&T service has been down throughout the Baton Rouge metro area. One of my former professors told me he’s been living in Louisiana for 44 years, and has never witnessed flooding this severe.

In Denham Springs (about 10 miles from Baton Rouge), the Amite river is currently at 46′ and rising. Flood stage for the river starts at 29′. 

This is bad, really bad. Places that only flood once every 500 years are flooding. Unfortunately, these are also places where people don’t have flood insurance because they don’t live in a flood plain.

There was no warning for this, at least with hurricanes we can see them coming and have time to prepare or evacuate.

So Taylor wants to talk about character assassination? Let’s talk about the character assassination she’s done over the 10 years of her career.

Joe Jonas: She painted him as a cheater and a jerk saying reiterated times that he broke up with her in a 27 second call and dragging him and dissing him several times about it. Like on Ellen, saying “when I find that person that is right for me and is wonderful, when I look at that person I’m not even gonna be able to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 25 seconds when I was eighteen” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6WA1Fk09vY Or on her MySpace, when she posted a video holding a Joe Jonas doll saying “See, this one even comes with a phone so he can break up with other dolls” and then she holds up Joe’s doll along with hers and tells the Taylor doll to stay away from him. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9NyEWGAlFr8 Or her infamous SNL monologue: “You might think I’d bring up Joe, the guy who broke up with me on the phone, But I’m not gonna mention him in my monologue, Hey Joe! Second on the list, Camilla Belle, the girl Joe fell in love with overseas so he called Taylor on the phone to tell her he didn’t wanted to be with her anymore: Taylor wrote Better than Revenge about her and the lyrics say “she’s not a saint and she’s not what you think, she’s an actress, but she’s better known for the things that she does on the mattress” she’s implying she’s a slut.

Next, John Mayer, she made him look like a predator who abused her. John even voiced his discomfort about the song, how it hurt him and he thought he didn’t deserve such a thing. Maybe he did, but did Taylor call him to tell him about the song and lyrics like Kanye did with her? No.

Harry Styles: I Knew You Were Trouble was a song she penned before her break up with Harry, and even though it wasn’t about him, she made everyone believe it was, portraying him as an evil man who dates around, cheated on her (the lyrics “you never loved me or her”) and broke her heart by characterizing the actor portraying her boyfriend in the music video with a boat tattoo that looked just like Harry’s. And her speech at the VMAs “I want to thank the person who inspired this song, who knows exactly who he is, because now I got one of this”, and when she performed IKYWT live at the BRITs 2013 she said to UK’s Sunday Time smagazine “Well, it’s not hard to access the emotion when the person the song is directed at is standing by the side of the stage watching”, Taylor’s only ex at the BRITs that time was Harry.

Jake Gyllenhaal was one amusing break-up, since she penned one of the most beautiful and heartbreaking songs about him, “All Too Well”, song she cried out every time she performed. And everytime she stopped before the bridge to look directly at the fans, to let them see her crocodile tears on the big screen behind her on stage, you just have to look at any RED Tour All Too Well fancam to see that. She looked sad on every frigging candid during the Red era making her look like she did her so wrong she was the remains of what she used to be, BUT that song was penned during her Speak Now era, according to her mom who saw her pen the song after the break-up call. And on the Speak Now era candids, even after the tour ended, she looks happy as ever. She just acted the “I’m sad cause the bad man broke my heart” face for the candids because you know what she penned during that time? 1989, and she supposedly, was terrifically happy. Plus the song The Moment I Knew, where she sings “they follow me down the hall, and there in the bathroom I try not to fall apart and the sinking feeling starts as I say hopelessly ‘he said he’d be here’” the song basically says that she’s on her birthday party and everyone’s is having a good time except her because he didn’t arrive so she started crying and ran to the bathroom to cray her heart out and the song ends saying that the moment he called her to apologize for not making it was the moment she knew they weren’t for each other. So he misses her birthday party and she antagonizes him making a big drama, crying every time she sings the obvious song that is about him thanks to the scarf she brilliantly added into the lyrics, and pulling the heartbroken face to the camera and audience.

Katy Perry: when her 1989 album was about to come out she said this to Rolling Stone about Bad Blood “For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not. She would come up to me at award shows say something and walk away, and I would think ‘are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?’ Then last year, the other star crossed a line. She did something so horrible I was like ‘oh we’re straight-up enemies’. And it wasn’t even about a guy! It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me”. Everyone knew she was talking about Perry cause her dancers had been with Taylor temporarily and went back to Katy later. One of the dancers said that the contract they had with Taylor, was that, temporary, they were gonna be with her until Katy got back to business. That was the deal, so when Katy released her new album and went on tour they left Taylor and gave her a month heads-up so she could find new people. They didn’t left her or the tour just like that, and Katy didn’t hired them up from her, that was the deal from the start. And on her music video she gangs up with her squad to teach the bad girl of the story (Selena Gomez in the video) a lesson.

But later on a GQ interview she said this regarding Bad Blood: “You’re in a Rolling Stone interview, and the writer says, ‘Who is that song about? That sounds like a really intense moment from your life.’ And you sit there, and you know you’re on good terms with your ex-boyfriend, and you don’t want him—or his family—to think you’re firing shots at him. So you say, ‘That was about losing a friend.’ And that’s basically all you say. But then people cryptically tweet about what you meant. I never said anything that would point a finger in the specific direction of one specific person, and I can sleep at night knowing that. I knew the song would be assigned to a person, and the easiest mark was someone who I didn’t want to be labeled with this song. It was not a song about heartbreak. It was about the loss of friendship. So I don’t necessarily care who people think it’s about. I just needed to divert them away from the easiest target.” So here, she lied, she says she said it was about losing a friend and she said nothing for it to point to a specific person but on the previous excerpt from Rolling Stone you can see she said more than just that. And let what she said to GQ sink in for a minute. She didn’t wanted people to believe the song was about her ex (Harry) cause they’re in good terms so she threw Katy under the bus. A girl who did nothing to her and got tons of shit on the internet and the whole media for hurting America’s Sweetheart and “sabotaging” her tour. She ruined Katy’s reputation for a guy.

 And last but not least, Calvin: they wrote a song together. She told him she didn’t wanted credit for the song cause their relationship would overshadow it so she used a pseudonym, after they break up she says she deserves credit painting him as a bad guy who doesn’t want to give her what she deserves when that’s not the case. He went to twitter and said “she wrote some lyrics and even sung some background vocals, and she smashed it” he complimented her even though she wants to make drama out of him. Plus the lovely tweet were he says “I know you need to drag someone like you did to Katy but I’m not that guy, I won’t allow it”

And I love how she’s said she doesn’t see writing music as a weapon to get back to people but on her Fearless Tour DVD, when performing Should’ve Said No she says “I wrote this song about a guy who made the decision to cheat on me, which was a mistake cause I write songs” and she added a bridge saying “oh oh you should’ve said no baby now everybody knows”, now that was for a guy that’s not famous, but still, she dragged him cause she knew that was gonna mark him. The songs secret message is the boy’s name.

So tell me again how Taylor has never done anything wrong or hurt anyone and how she doesn’t deserve to be exposed the way she did cause it’s “illegal to record a phone call”, which isn’t in NY, where it was recorded. Did she call them to give all this people a heads up about what was she going to say about them or do? I doubt so. So, no, don’t bring up character assassination cause you’ve done plenty, Taylor.

Unarmed Black Man With Hands Up Shot By Police.

Charles Kinsey, 47, a behavior therapist from South Florida was shot in the leg three times by the police in North Miami while laying on the ground with his arms up and trying to help his patient with autism who had run away from a group home.

It all started when someone called 911 and said there was a man walking around with a gun. However it was Kinsey’s patient who was sitting on the ground cross-legged, playing with a toy truck.

Charles got shot by police despite telling them he was only trying to help his patient.

The police shot him, handcuffed him and left him on ground bleeding.

North Miami police have not released much information at all. They haven’t released the officer’s name, they haven’t given us an update on the investigation. However, they did say that the state attorney is now a part of this investigation.
