thank u to the my chem reunion for many things but in particular for putting ray toro back on stage with a guitar a microphone and a big smile. the world was literally missing out on the best rock guitarist of a generation and we all just had to pretend everything was fine 😭 wtf

thinking about how prominent ray’s vocals were this tour and how influential remember the laughter must have been in that happening. ray’s always sung harmonies on stage but the amount of times he ASKED for his mic to be turned up and fully gave it his all is so much more than it ever was before the break up. ray’s talked in interviews for remember the laughter how nervous he was to do the vocals for it and how challenging it was, but it’s so clear that what he learned and took away from that process and that experience is (at least in part) what led to us hearing such BEAUTIFUL harmonies and vocals from ray this tour.
