There's no way around how awful it is that Sebastian Stan liked that n word video. He liked more posts from that guy after that video, and he went on his podcast AFTER this happened as well. Weeks prior to this video, he "apologized" (it wasn't an honest, sincere apology, which was very apparent when he failed to speak up properly for BLM in 2020) for posting a Take A Knee meme that he KNEW was offensive. His current girlfriend is racist, if the screenshots from his previous girlfriend weren't altered, then she was racist as well, and his girlfriend before that had her racist moments as well.

He has racist, Trump supporting friends. The mdceleste lady he works with for children's charities is an antiblack bootlicker who made a post blaming Black athletes protesting police brutality for the MEDIA choosing not to talk about kidnapped children. He publicly wished her happy birthday months later. His buddy Paul did blackface, justified doing it when he was called out on it last year, and Sebastian recently gave him a shout out.

This man is currently using social media to be manipulative; every time there's uproar over his actions, he posts something to take attention away from it. He and his team saw that people were talking about tiktok, so he posts tiktoks. People have been talking about his Spotify, so guess what he does as he's getting canceled on Twitter? It's a game for him, and he's been very consistent with it.

I suggest yall stop being a fan of his.

*Side note: Alejandra Onieva's cultural appropriation wasn't last seen in 2018. Go to her Instagram and you can find a picture of her in henna with a bindi on her forehead from 2019. I've also seen a photo of another instance where she has a bindi and she's at a club. She also followed a zionist last week. Do with that what you want.

If you aint a POC then dont tell a POC how they should feel about this Sebastian Stan situation. I am a huge fan of Seb's but in my time as a fan I've seen alot of these things (these rehashed receipts that are being brought back up) and was there for the apologies. Yes, I forgave him at the time but I refused/still refuse to enable the behavior...it's called holding him responsible for the actions he committed rather he had intent or not. People can say they are learning, BUT ACTUALLY PUTTING IN WORK TO LEARN IS DIFFERENT. Seb says he is 'learning' but then he goes and repeats the same bs again and as a fan of color, particularly a black fan you start to question if the learning was damage control to fix his brand, keep his fans happy and image clean or if he really is just that damn dumb. With celebrities it will always be keeping the image clean, not really truly wanting to learn.

I'm not Seb and I dont know Seb but the man has to literally sell you a facade, that's his whole job. Rather he truly has learned or not, I cant say but this shit isn't new. It's only bigger now because his current girlfriend is unabashedly racist and doesnt care about the pandemic that's why there's this uproar. Now with that segway: I'm noticing this herd mentality where because his girlfriend is literally the most hated woman on the internet, surpassing Ellen Degeneres that it's like a free for all to just say anything out your mouthes (death threats, slurs, abuse threats, gross shit) and that's a no. Yes! Seb needs to hold his girl accountable for the shit she has done, he hasn't because he doesnt see that her behavior effects others, he doesnt care because if he did: Firstly he'd be acknowledging she did those things and condeming it, he's done neither and that's a problem. His silence is complacency and enabling her. Two: he'd have her own up to that shit, condemn it herself and make efforts to do better. Neither of them have done that, that's a problem. Finally: Seb associates himself with people who share the exact same mentality as Alejandra (unbothered, unconcerned, racist and unwilling to see past their wealth/status, making them completely disjointed from the realities of society), which leads people to believe that is HIS MENTALITY as well, which from his track record and the company he keeps is definitely proving that point to possibly be true. Not saying you can't have friends with differing opinions but when those opinions are regarding POC and its stereotypes being perpetuated as jokes for shits and giggles and you aint showing up nor out for the causes for POC despite having a huge POC fanbase then AGAIN that's a problem.

Covid, not taking it serious, vacationing during the pandemic and partying. But then trying to sell this facade that none of that happened even though there's pap photos everywhere as evidence. That's a problem. All of this shit is a problem and it's not enough to just cancel someone. Holding them responsible, making them AWARE, forcing them to see how their actions hurt certain groups of people is how you handle these situations particularly with celebs that you are fans of. If after that he still ain't learn well then damn! You can lead a horse to water but you cant make it drink. Seb doesn't need coddling and woobification but he also doesnt need people calling him slurs and sending death as well as other derogatory threats against him. The man is basically 40 if he hasn't learned he never will, at this point he is comfortable in the mindset that he has so WE as fans need to better decide how to approach stan/fan culture when it comes to celebrities like Sebastian Stan. Particularly fans who can't see that the character, the actor who plays the character, are two totally different people. Sebastian Stan IS NOT Bucky Barnes and Bucky Barnes IS NOT Sebastian Stan. They are TWO TOTALLY DIFFERENT INDIVIDUALS and I hope to God y'all finally have learned that.

So recap:

Sebastian Stan: is wrong about a LOT of shit that he did, he's grown af and should know better. Hold him accountable! Just because he gives you a smile and an apology (this goes for all celebs not just him) doesn't mean you shouldn't still continue to hold him to a standard of being able to be a decent human being. That's not saying bombard him with shit or coddle him, it's saying look at him and say 'you fucked up, here's how you fucked up, do better'.

His girlfriend: Alejandra?? DEAD WRONG IN EVERYWAY hold her accountable as well! She appropriated other cultures as costumes for some really fucked up parties that I honestly don't understand who thought were good ideas. Needless to say, when someone brings these problematic aspects to you about your partner etc. You dont just brush that shit off, confront it, acknowledge it, learn why that shit is wrong and do better going forward. It's not that damn hard to understand.

As fans: Stop having unhealthy expectations and glorifying the ground of people you TRULY do not know. These people ACT for a living, PR is literally their job, they are paid to sell you a fantasy once y'all start learning that then we wont need to cancel the same actors ten times in the span of four years.

Well, everyone — Sebastian finally posted about Alejandra on his Instagram 10 months after they supposedly started dating.

While the posting of this video does put the relationship more in the public eye, it doesn’t mean it has confirmed the relationship is real.
