[ID: a tweet from Heather Hogan @ theheatherhogan. It reads, “This poor pharmacy tech was doing the mental calculations on whether to call me ‘sir’ or ‘ma'am’ – and then he saw my shirt says DYKES and completely panicked and said ‘May I help you, dykes? Oh god. Oh my god.’ I’ve bought him an ice cream to calm him down.” End ID]

"Beams" are purely destructive in nature, but "rays" have some sort of on hit effect, like "Freeze Ray" or "Shrink Ray" or, "Death Ray"

Incorrect OP, but I forgive you, this is a common misconception

Robo is going to use Cure Beam on you, in the hopes that this helps you to reflect on and heal the violence that dwells in your heart 😔

robo I'm so sorry I doubted the curative powers of your beam, I've sworn myself to a vow of nonviolence in hopes I can one day make up for my violent nature...

imagine if doorways grew back like scabbed over with fresh drywall and you had to keep carving them back out with a jabsaw to keep the doorway clear etc

Imagine if the membranes recoiled in pain every time you did this. Imagine if over time, some doorways became accustomed sensation. Imagine that very rarely, some even seemed to enjoy it.

*sleepover host voice* imagine if you two went to sleep

Cassette Beasts has everything. Cool monsters, exploration, jamming tunes, old lesbians, a dog, beating up shitty land owners, the existential conflict of insanely powerful deities who only obtain their power from the lesser beings who will them into existence, romance options, a talking crab...

Cassette Beasts has some of the most monster designs of all time. Absolute Creatures, little beasties the works. If you like monster collection rpgs like pokemon but aren't really into competitive play and just want a single player story I *highly* recommend Cassette Beasts

If I had a time machine I'd take several homonids from various "stone age" periods and take them to the most perfect place to witness 9/11 happen, then take them to the 80s for fun coke parties and then take them back in time before they wake up and see how that alters history
