I think the true brilliance of the Blair witch project is (spoilers)

That the story centers around women, the Blair witch is a monster but its a female monster, the main character heather is our protagonist.

But the real monster is the two guys making the documentary with her, we’re made to believe the Blair witch was a real monster but the truth was, it was all a cruel scheme to get a girl alone in the woods to torment her psychologically and who knows what else.

Now the Blair witch could have been a real entity but like any paranormal being theyre not doing much… this movie is framed as a true documentary, in real life paranormal investigators capture very little on camera…. Like an alien or ghost isnt just gonna walk up to you n bitch slap you. This is the logic in the filming of this movie. also the rock stacking and the twigs looked more like Bigfoot behavior to me…so i honestly don’t think the Blair witch was real.

Basically the real monster is men.
