the only thing that’s strange to me about the koopalings in new super mario bros is that ludwig’s voice is pretty deep. i’m so used to “kooky’s” ridiculous cute voice in the cartoon (nostalgia is strong). i guess i can’t shake those cartoon personalities, in a way they will always be my definitive version of the kids. blasphemous hah.

About Blade Knight's gender....
DISCLAIMER: I don't hate it when anybody makes Blade Knight into a girl, as I like seeing genderbent versions of characters.
A lot of people have mistaken Blade Knight for a girl, even though he isn't. Hell, I've even heard about some people saying that 4kids "messed up Blade's gender", which is bullshit. Yes, 4kids ruined many things, but Blade's gender isn't one of them. I can think of 2 reasons why Blade is often mistaken for a girl: 1. His tassels resemble a ponytail and 2. He sounds like a girl in the Japanese version of the Kirby anime. Also, there's proof that he's actually a boy. If you go to Blade's wiki page on the Kirby wiki, you can see that Blade is referred to by he/him pronouns. However, according to some people, Blade's gender is unconfirmed. There's still some debate about whether or not Blade is a girl to this day.
I honestly could see blade being both ways but blade knight along with sword knight are my favorite characters in the anime and probably the only two I pay attention to more because I always been interested by the character design and I do Simp for both of them and I wish I started liking them more sooner like around 2015 or 2016 I been a fan of them since 2018 which was the same year I got into the Kirby fandom
