TOGETHER WE ARE STRONG, LEAVE AND WE HAVE LOST.

I came home and checked my Tumblr. I have lost many followers in the last 12 hours as I am sure everyone else has. Most have deleted their accounts and left. Tumblr friends have left without saying goodbye. This makes me both sad and angry at the same time. Yes, this is just online fun, but we came here and created a community. Some of us made good friends both here and off Tumblr. Now that community is being broken up from the outside. Should we continue to leave in droves or should we stay? I believe in staying as long as possible and I hope you will all do the same. We have until 17th December. In that time we can continue to petition our feelings. But, most important of all, we can still be together and talk. This community should and will stay together, whether it be here on Tumblr or we find somewhere more suitable and acceptable. Some have chosen to call it a day, but most want to continue posting what they enjoy. If we all leave now, no one will know how this will all work out or where the community will re emerge. A few more days of waiting, petitioning and talking with each other about possible options will not hurt as much as all the lost hard work everyone has put into their blogs over the many years and they will just be taken away. I am also looking at different options and chatting with others but I will not throw away what I have worked on by pressing a button for anyone just because they say so. Stay and you can talk and observe, leave and you are alone. TOGETHER WE ARE STRONG, ALONE WE ARE LOST.
