weight-loss tumblr spell!

To lose ten pounds by next week, like to charge, reblog to cast, follow me to lose five more! 🔮💜💟

I know these are fake but I’m a little bastard man and I wanna be SMALL.

10 Weeks, starting NOW!!

Alright y’all - it’s time to get serious. Want to be skinny for summer? This is your chance! We have exactly 10 weeks from today until Memorial Day, the unofficial First Day of Summer. If you work hard and stay consistent for the next 10 weeks, which is only 2.5 months, you can make significant progress and start off the summer right. Aren’t you tired of saying you’ll be skinny for summer, only to not work at it and disappoint yourself again? Make it different this time. Make an effort to change your habits. Stop googling “how to lose weight fast,” you’ve read all those articles and you know what they say. It’s time to get over yourself and just accept that it’s not an overnight magical thing, you’re going to have to put in some honest hard work and it’s going to take a few months of consistency, but at the end it will be worth it, you won’t even remember what it was like before. You’ll wake up one day and say “wtf I’m actually skinny, that only took 2.5 months, I can’t believe I didn’t do this years ago!” You just have to make it happen.

RULES:

1. Exercise. Make an exercise schedule that fits your lifestyle and goals. I’m training to hike the Grand Canyon, so my exercise plan includes walking/jogging, incline hiking, strength training, and HIIT circuits (I’ll also throw in some dance and yoga for fun, flexibility, and active recovery.) If you’re only looking for weight loss, walking every day and strength training 2-3x per week will get you there for sure. Make it fun and sustainable so you’ll want to keep it up for all 10 weeks, plan for gradual progress based on where you’re starting, and make sure to include plenty of rest!!

2. Eat enough food. Aim for high protein and high fiber from whole food sources. The key is to listen to your body and work with it instead of against it. Aren’t you tired of restricting all the time and feeling weak and terrible, then eating it all back anyway when you binge later? Stop playing into these cycles that don’t work for you. It’s not about you or your willpower, it’s biology. Feed yourself the nutrients your body needs on a regular basis, so you won’t binge anymore. Figure out a meal plan that works for you and doesn’t make you feel malnourished, weak, moody, unhappy, etc. (Honestly, this is the hardest part for me and I keep falling back into restrictive tendencies, but I know it makes a huge difference in body composition/quality of life so I’m trying to make nutrition a top priority this time around. Aiming for at least 1500cal and 50g protein per day.)

3. Work for it every day. Make charts and logs so you can track your progress. Do something every day that puts you a step closer to your goal. Don’t skip a single day! Any big change is the result of many small changes, and each small change you make adds up. Every thing you do is a chance to move yourself in the right direction. Every time you make a good choice, it gets easier to make a better choice next time. And if you make a bad decision, don’t beat yourself up over it or hold a grudge to torture yourself, and don’t give up the rest of the day saying you’ll start again tomorrow - just take a deep breath and consciously make a better choice next time. Remember, it takes time and consistency–you can’t do it in one day no matter how hard you push yourself. So take it easy and just do a little bit each day! It’s a lifestyle change, and you’ll be shocked by how easy it becomes in 3 months if you keep it up.

4. Take care of yourself. Mentally, physically, emotionally, socially, spiritually. You can do all this work to get skinny, but why bother if you hate yourself the whole time? Put in some effort to heal yourself in whatever ways you need. Indulge in the things you love. Make yourself feel special and alive. You matter, you’re worth it! Being skinny isn’t going to make you love yourself, you have to actively retrain your brain and shut down negative thought patterns. If you’re working this hard to make your body happy, you might as well work to make your mind happy too. It’s hard, but it’s just another positive habit to add to your new lifestyle. Appreciate your successes, forgive your setbacks, and do your best to show up for yourself every day! You need to support yourself. Be your own best friend. You’ll get there!

5. Commit to actually doing it this time!! Nothing will be different if you’re not committed to change. Tell yourself you’re doing it, no more excuses. Stop fantasizing and start doing. You can spend the rest of your life online wishing your life was different, reading about how to lose weight/get fit, or you can get up and actually do something about it. Stop lying to yourself. If what you’re doing isn’t giving you the results you want, don’t just keep doing what you’re doing. Commit to it and hold yourself accountable. Only you have the power to do that for yourself.

~~~~~~
So do you really want it, or not? Are you actually going to work for it this time? Are you going to follow through on your plan until you start seeing results? Or are you going to give up on yourself again, only to try to start over in another 3 months when you tell yourself you’ll get skinny over the summer… and then August creeps up and you give up again and then tell yourself you’ll be skinny for Christmas/New Years, and then spring break, and then summer again…. It’ll never end until you decide to show up for yourself and end it. Stop putting it off if it means this much to you.
I’m doing it, and I’m starting now! Are you?
Source article. Where words came from.
but then again, its kind like putting a meat suit on and telling a shark not to eat you
We (men) are not fucking sharks!
We are not rabid animals living off of pure instinct
We are capable of rational thinking and understanding.
Just because someone is cooking food doesn’t mean you’re entitled to eat it.
Just because a banker is counting money doesn’t mean you’re being given free money.
Just because a person is naked doesn’t mean you’re entitled to fuck them.
You are not entitled to someone else’s body just because it’s exposed.
What is so fucking difficult about this concept?
How can you not reblog something like this
