i used to say “puppypuppy” to call the loma babies when they were really small. for outside playtime, for mealtimes, for snuggles, whatever. now when i say it, it activates some feral part of their brain. this works on all of them btw.

puppy mode: ACTIVATED

stacys mom turned me into a frog!

stacy cant you see she has placed a spell on me!

now im in a bog and look just like a small green frog

It’s important to realize that platonic love can sometimes seem a lot like romantic love.

It can make your heart pound and your stomach flutter. It can make you nervous to act upon it. It can be just as full of meaning and desire as any relationship, and it can be confusing at times, but that’s alright.

If it brings joy, that’s all that matters.

This is super important. Platonic relationships can be extremely moving and very emotional. Some people would literally give anything for some of their friends and that is an amazing part of humanity.

Shout out to my beloved mutual @big-ole-katydid . I don't know you, but I can always count on you to appreciate my erratic flurries of reblogs.

Aw hey I feel the same! We’ve never actually spoken but every now and then we hold hands across the Atlantic and share in the joy of odd blogging :’)

i honestly feel like some ecological niches just aren’t filled. Like, what fills the gap between a frog and a mouse? Some sort of bug probably. A rude one, even. Just saying- there should be more cool animals to discoever.

while this is a joke post, i would like you to know about the pyrenean desman :) while it looks indeed like the frog-mouse gap, it’s closely related to moles!

There was a group of angels at the bar tonight. Super intense vibe, but they kept to themselves and didn't disturb the other patrons, except for one point when they all suddenly burst into cheers and ordered a round for the bar. I asked what they were celebrating. They told me that for a split second all of the air molecules bounced petfectly into one corner of the room. It's like their version of the dvd screensaver.
