 A Surrey family is horrified their 13-year-old son, who is on the autism spectrum, was punched in the face by a middle-aged man and police are not pursuing the case further.

It happened last Monday morning at the food court at Central City Shopping Centre in Surrey, B.C.

The boy’s mother is outraged.

“A 200-pound adult punched my kid, who is barely 70 pounds,” said Yanyan Yao.

do you believe that cats understand us or is it just a coincidence? 

My cat stopped eating and he was 24/7 sleeping, we think he’s sad because of the loss of his best friend that he was very close to. We have to bring the food to him. He wasn’t barely moving his eyes. Vet said he wasn’t phisically injured or anything, so we think it really is sadness.

Then, yesterday, I sat down and started saying out loud that we needed him to be strong and that his friend is now looking over him, and that my mother needed him to feel better bc she was getting worried about losing him too, that our other cats needed him to take care of them. well, i said it like he was an adult.

I don’t know, he just simply woke up better. He’s eating, drinking water, and also went outside for a bit of sun. He’s meawing now and then, sort of asking for the other cats to approach but they are still taking their time.

ann m martin, the author of the books, is an out lesbian. many of the writers and directors involved with the netflix series are black, asian, and latin women. they did their homework, cast a young trans girl to play a young trans girl, and included multiple gay children and gay parents. mary anne and dawn are both played by actresses of colour.

AND the series is smart and funny and very watchable for all ages—i tend to not really watch new shows aimed at a younger audience, but i watched all of season 1 in one day. it’s rated at 100% on rotten tomatoes right now, and that rating is well deserved.

we paid for public services, we want those public services to be accessable to us we also paid for a shitload of bombs and corporate bonuses, but the people recieving that ‘free stuff’ seem to be fine with it only when it goes to them, not to the needy
