I’m extremely appreciative of you, because for one, you’re my best friend (duh), but you’re honest, and supportive. Like I said before we sorta became best friends on accident, like two little girls playing in the sand box, and we’re inseparable for the rest of the day. Of course we’ve had our ups and out downs but we got past them and moved on, and I’m so, so happy for that. I really don’t know what I would do if I lost you as a best friend, I mean sure I’ll have my boyfriend, but it’s not the same, and every girl knows that. I love how whenever we watch glee we get really excited about it, we cry about it, we laugh, and we curse at the TV because Finn and Rachel aren’t together. I love our jacuzzi nights. I love how we can be severely honest with each other, and not spare our feelings, because the truth is better than a lie. I love how we can talk about being each other’s maid of honors, and not being each others maid of honors if we marry a certain guy (you know who). I love our inside jokes. I love how we can’t get enough of the Biebs, Glee, Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, lady GaGa, and sexy bodies. I love how we tried fixing things with friends after last summer, and I’m happy about that. I love the fact that you want to be a chef, and I’ll never be upset if you have to go out of state for school, because that’s what YOU want to do, and I respect that fully. Last Wednesday, FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler announced a proposal for new rules that would allow for a “ fast lane” of Internet traffic for content providers who are willing (and able) to pay a fee. [1] The proposal reverses the FCC’s previous commitment to net neutrality and open internet and allows ISP’s like Comcast or Verizon to slow down and censor services that don’t pay the toll.

We have to be totally honest, this situation is seriously grim. But there is still hope. The FCC already knows that the Internet community wants net neutrality, but they think they can put their spin on these new rules and sneak them through. If we can prove them wrong right now with a massive public outcry, we can literally save the Internet once again.

We need to stop the FCC now. Big business groups are already ramping up lobbying efforts with the FCC in swarms since Wednesday’s announcement in support of censoring the open Internet and to ensure this dangerous proposal moves forward. [2]

This is a critical moment. In the last few weeks more than 65,000 people have taken action with us. Can you help us get to 80,000 by the end of the day today?
