It’s also silly to dismiss people pointing out how the movie has some of the most laughably horrible, misogynist writing of women in any recent movie as Liberal “more female warcrimes!” for a number of reasons, not least of all because the real woman being portrayed WAS A COMMUNIST and is just made a manic pixie dream girl here

i assumed the people complaining about the sex scene were puritan americans used to sanitised marvel movies but if this is true (i haven't seen the movie) ah i understand the complaints
