I love depictions of Grumpuses with tails but I think it would also involve the delightful issue of every time Triffany stops by the farm Wambus keeps knocking over his own plants because he's wagging so hard. No matter how many times he says he's going to be more careful he ends up with a mess and cheese sauce in his fur that he had to scrub out. He has a reputation for being stubborn and a bit crotchety but it's hard to take him seriously when whenever he gets excited about his wife he can accidentally knock over a shelf from halfway across the room.
