So since this is a safe place I can drop the act to explain whats going on currently. I went to utah to be with my family and say my last goodbyes to my grandmother who was dying. An altercation with our landlord happened while I was gone which was the straw that broke the horses back
We need help getting out of our horrible situation. So I started a gofund me for our moving expenses to go be near my family. This cost will cover us to make a payment on a place, our moving expenses, and any alternate costs that might come up during the move.

To be fair, almost everyone in Ratatouille does have a French accent. The real question is why Linguini and also all the rats sound intensely American
If it was just the rats I’d say it’s because the movie can be interpreted to mean that the rats understand but don’t necessarily speak human languages so the rat dialog isn’t literally taking place the way we see it but that doesn’t explain why Linguini has a rat accent
