Lifting heavy shit-meathead jokes- Powerlifting-Crossfit- Photography- baking. and being a bad ass.

It's almost summer time! Adventures await. This summer please don't hold yourself back because of your weight and the beliefs that you can only enjoy life when you hit your goals. I've spent too many summers hidden under layers of clothes, missed memories because I let my weight hold me back. Embrace your body as it is in this moment and enjoy life to the fullest! If you are struggling with the mindset and weightloss send me a message and let's hope on a free 45 min call to work it out and create some massive action for yourself. I want you to have your best summer yet!

Remember that time I couldn't pull conventional or sumo deadlift I'm starting with some light weights to build up strength in sumo because that positioning feels best right now. Listening to your body is hard when you've been avoiding it for years and don't fully trust yourself.

A little weekend project. First time in awhile I've gone back to my first love of crafting. Giving yourself time to be creative allows for fresh ideas to flow. #science 😏but for real I've had this desk for four years now saying I was going to do something with it. #action over #motivation. What's your make work project you've been putting off?

Rows for the bros💪🏼... moving my body is feeling so good Action over motivation!

How did yoga go with Walter you ask.....😂😂 I am grateful for listening to my body and trusting this is what it needed today. I must say, I can walk way better now and my feet feel normal (which is rare)

Resistance.. my theme for this year is embrace, being in a state of flow rather than constantly in resistance. I have been in resistance for over a year since I started coaching. Trying to keep health and biz separate. And the more i stayed in resistance between the two the more weight I gained and the more unhealthy I began. When I decided to finally combine the two (with a friendly push from a few friends) everything feels right again and that flow is back! I decided as a way to stay accountable and hopefully help others I'm going to start vlogging this journey! The first video is in my bio! I hope you check it out!

Happy Mother's Day to the original badass! Who treats my fur baby like one of her human grandkids (quilts and all)🌸🌹🌷😬🌼🌻. And to all my adopted mothers! Thanks for taking me in 👯 I love you and I am so blessed! 🙌🏽🙌🏽

Here's something I've been embracing. // I ALWAYS wear undershirts... because obviously they make me look at least 50lbs lighter🤣😉🙄... the goal was to keep the jiggle down & the stomach contained.... // Here's the thing working out in them is uncomfortable... if you squat everything is compressed anyway then add a more compression. And another layer to be worried about if it's rising up or moving around. 😑 // Instead of worrying how I'm looking like while I squat, I'm trying to be more concerned about ACTUALLY showing up. // Just here embracing my body as is, not trying to hide it under more layers than I've already created.

I want to know if you have any fears, questions or problems with the fitness industry? Is there something that scares you, overwhelmed you or confuses the hell out of you! Drop it below!👇🏼👇🏼

Fear *resistance// has been showing up for me daily since I took my leap of faith. And the universe has a funny way to constantly correct my path, I've been resisting a specific area of coaching for over a year and it constantly comes up over and over. I need to stop letting my inner mean girl take over and #showup, and start creating the change rather than just complaining to friends about it. // Rad stuff dropping tomorrow

INNER MEAN GIRL (ego) was checked at the door today. Starting from the bottom. 4 months ago I would have laughed at my first warm up being anything under 225lbs for a squat, or joke about getting more weight on the bar for a deadlift. But after a four month hiatus I'm taking things slow. 4 months ago i had really bad plantar fasciitis, I could barely walk, I wasn't taking care of my body at all. ••• 6 months of not lifting out working out in perspective for me, I thought I did it to lose weight and that was it, truthfully working out was for my mental, spiritual and physical well being. It kept me balanced and focus. ••• As I slowly return to lifting heavy shit I'm taking it easy following a StrongLifts program, and really listening to my body a light workout is better than no workout for me mentally. ••• I'm not ashamed to start from the bottom and kick my inner mean girls butt when she says I'm not lifting enough weight. I am good enough. ••• But srs, still hate mirrors in globo gyms😑

This year I choose gratitude I am grateful to be a daughter of a man who fought for something he believed in. And because of his legacy I get to live mine. Because of him I understand death and the importance of living now, I understand love and family. I understand that there is more to life than this. I can't tell you many memories because I was only 6 but I can tell you I still hear his voice. I learned to celebrate life and deathiversaries. I am so grateful for every moment with him although that was a lifetime away. I am grateful to be his daughter. I am so grateful for him and the person I got to become because of him. #LOVE
