The Colin and Brad show!
You guys seemed to enjoy me posting my experience with seeing Greg, so I’ll talk about me seeing Colin and Brad last night! I will just use bullet points, cause I don’t have the writing skills to craft this all into one big story, haha.
First off, we had to drive about an hour and half to the venue in Greeley, Colorado because I couldn’t attend the one in Denver the first night. I also managed to get front row seats for the Greeley show so the drive was damn worth it.
-They opened the show by introducing themselves, etc. Brad then noticed there were sign language interpreters. He started messing with them by saying poop. They signed it, they he said “poooooooop” and they signed it slower, which made him all giddy like a child. He would actually make poop jokes the entire show, and purposely look over to the sign language interpreters to make sure he was bugging them after he said it. He ended up re-tweeting my tweet about his poop jokes later that night which was pretty cool :)
-They were playing a game where they both trade off saying a word to form a sentence, and in response to someone in the crowd asking what their favorite sex position is, they said “The Denver Flying Moose.” (whut)
-I have absolutely no idea what context this was in cause I was laughing so hard, but Brad told the audience he has a large, *awkward cough* you know... I think Colin was saying it was small, but Brad was re-assuring the crowd it wasn’t. (Haha)
-Brad is a grown ass child. I’m not even kidding. He keeps it a bit more mature on Whose Line but when he’s live, omg. 18 year old in a 51 year old body.
-Colin’s head is shiny and mesmerizing with stage lights. (He also flipped off an audience member for making a bald joke.)
-The two were transitioning into the mousetrap game, and the stage crew started setting the traps on the floor. Music was playing, and Brad was talking to the audience. The mousetraps that were being set down caught his eye, and he stops and says “these aren’t set.” And this is where it got weird. Brad actually got a little mad and told them to just stop the music and get every stage crew member out there to set them. Colin kept his cool and remained quiet and tried to help the frantic staff members set them up, but Brad was really annoyed and it was so so so weird seeing that side of him. But I mean how do you not set them? Someone messed up bad... lol. Colin and Brad said that was the first time it’s ever happened. EMBARRASSING.
-Brad was explaining the rope that they hang in front of the stage to keep them from falling in the mousetrap game, and he joked someone could get an awesome lap dance if they fall. I brought up my hands jokingly like in a “bring it on” motion, and Colin who was standing directly in front of me noticed and pointed at me. Bring it on Col, hahaha.
-Colin threw 3 mousetraps at Brad’s crotch region and got a direct hit each time. Practice makes perfect.
-It was such a great time. Probably the funniest live show I have ever seen. I have such a new and greater appreciation for what they do.
I have a few photos I secretly took which I’ll upload in a bit. Poor quality, but I was being sneaky ;)
