ADHD culture is feeling out of place everywhere. Even with random particular interests, you feel like you don't belong anywhere. Switching between random things makes you feel guilty of not having one particular set of focus and you feel like you don't have a place no matter where you go. You may like one thing at first then you go another interest and when you come back to the previous interest, you feel you're too late and guilty. Hence you don't belong anywhere.

October is ADHD awareness month! 🎉

The memory issues ADHD causes are some of the scarier and more frustrating parts of living with it - so here’s a set of reaction doodles that all my fellow ADHD peeps are welcome to use whenever anybody decides to comment on your forgetfulness ^

Don't Forget to mention ADD as well (^-^)

hey guys, I haven’t been around in a while because things have not been great on the mental health end and I’m trying to get ready to move, but I need a little help ;;

my laptop is busted and it’s uncertain whether or not it’ll be able to be repaired or if I need a new one but either way it’s going to take a chunk out of savings that I really need for moving and supporting myself while I get situated and I can’t really afford to lose those.

if you enjoy my work and you’re able, any support would be greatly appreciated!! 🥺

I have to replace my laptop and it’s going to cost me a lot of money and that’s stressing me out quite a bit, considering I’ve also had quite a bit of car repairs and vet bills to deal with.

I really can’t afford to lose more of my savings right now since I’m currently unemployed and trying to move out of my apartment soon. pls, if you’re able I would really appreciate the support. 🥺🥺

Tips That Can Save Your Kid’s Life.

THIS IS IMPORTANT

When I was a child, from the time I was about four and could understand things, my mom told me and my brother that we should have a secret word. That way, if we were ever in trouble or felt unsafe and we didn’t want the people around us to know we needed her to come get us, we could let her know. So she let us pick the word and my brother and I chose the phrase “peanut butter cups.” (I’m happy to share the phrase now since both my brother and I are adults now).

I used the phrase twice in my life. Once, I was at a friends house when I eight years old. Her dad got really drunk and was throwing things against the wall. I was really scared and I didn’t want to draw attention to myself on the phone when I called my mom to come get me because I didn’t know if he would get more violent if I asked her to come get me. So I called her and was calm and after a couple minutes I asked “Hey mommy, did you get me those peanut butter cups from the store?” And she said “I’ll be right there.” And she came and got me within minutes.

Second, I was a teenager spending the night at a friends house. Her brother and dad were drinking and they started talking about things that made me uncomfortable - ie: what they liked to do to women. My friend didn’t seem perturbed and said that was normal for them and that I shouldn’t worry. But I was worried because they were really drunk and I was 15 and the only ‘woman’ around that wasn’t related to them. I went in my friends room, told her I needed to call my mom and say goodnight. Before I hung up with her I asked “Next time we go to the store, can we get some peanut butters cups? I’ve been craving them.” And she came and got me, just like that.

Two incidents, one as a young child, one years later as a teen. Don’t discredit this stuff, it fucking works. My brother used it a few times too. Let your child pick the word and no never, ever, ever, ever get mad at them for using it no matter what it is.

DO NOT SCROLL PAST THAT.

Off topic, but very important! I was taught to yell “this is not my mom/dad.” A young kid freaking out in public is likely to be ignored out of embarrassment, but a kid telling you right out that they don’t know who is messing with them? That will turn heads.

Reblog this.💯🗣💋

rEBlOg nOw

I feel like this should be said too if you see a child yelling things like “this isn’t my mum, or I don’t know you” or something don’t ignore them! This system relies on people actually helping the child! It dosent matter how rude you’ll seem or how anxious you are you could be saving a child’s life!

Even if you just ask the child “Do you know this person” if the adult butt’s in make sure to ASK THE CHILD! Even a shy kid will tell you they don’t know this person or just met them or something!

DON’T IGNORE THE SIGNS!

ALWAYS REBLOG

VERY IMPORTANT YOU BETTER NOT SCROLL

YES THIS IS SO IMPORTANT

All these are great tips that could save a child’s life

The curriculum in America purposely leaves this shit out. Everyone’s history is left out that isn’t male and white. Systematically the truth has always been left out...purposely.

We all have to learn this stuff on own, including Black American history, Native American history, and Hispanic American history.

TIME FOR A WAKE UP CALL!! #TheTruthWillSetUFree

After Recent events involving Asian-Americans , I will be talking about #StopAsianHate on my Podcast show. My question for my Asian-Americans bro/sis is what are your thoughts about the movement and have you personally experienced discrimination yourself?

Because a lot of things that need to go viral .... don’t.

A pregnant Black Woman went missing & when her body was found & something was wrapped around her neck(like a noose but the police won’t specify). Later a very vocal Trump supporting couple was arrested for her murder with “no possible motive”.

Her Name is Brittany Samone Smith and this is a mislabeled HATE CRIME.

I tried to post this TikTok video but it wasn’t uploaded. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Bruh This Is Getting Ridiculous!!

For those who don’t know:

Tom Ruegger is the original creator of Animaniacs. He’s the guy you have to thank for the iconic characters Yakko, Wakko, and Dot (for whom the primary inspiration was his own three sons.) Among many others, including the equally popular Pinky and the Brain.  He was also an involved writer/lyricist for the show and played a huge part in coming up with new song & story ideas.

Yet despite all of this, Tom was never asked back for the 2020 reboot. In fact, he wasn’t even aware that a reboot was in production until it was announced to the public. Although Tom has expressed plenty of interest in being involved in the reboot, WB/Hulu has repeatedly turned him away.

Tom’s oldest son, Nate Ruegger (voice of Skippy Squirrel,) has spoken out about this on his twitter:

“the naked greed on display here to reboot a series without involving any of the original creative team so they can make *more* money, & then joke about it, is gross.” (x)

And he’s absolutely right. Outside of the main voice cast, none of the original team was consulted for the reboot. Tom was/is an integral part of Animaniacs. Without him, the show would never have existed, let alone become a cultural phenomenon. It doesn’t seem right for him to be cut out of the revival of a show that he is largely responsible for bringing to life in the first place.

The mistreatment and blatant disrespect of creators by big-name companies is something I’ve seen way too much of lately, and even though this is far from the first time, that doesn’t make the practice in anyway right or okay.

I’ve seen petitions for this going around, but they rarely gain enough traction, so I’m taking a more direct approach:

I’m asking fans of the series - new & old alike, regardless of your opinion on the reboot itself - to please reblog this. Or, simply spread the hashtag #BringBackTomRuegger somewhere on your social media.

So that we can let the new showrunners know that we, the fans, want to see Tom brought back for future seasons!!!

I’m not asking for a full rewrite, I just want the man who created these characters to have some say in what happens to them, as he should. Please share to show support, if you agree!

Please, reblog! IIt’s called self defense. Apart from having here, in the US, one of the highest cases of homicide and rape in the world and high rate of GBV, think about how this could help your mother or sister

It’s a shame I have to reblog, but please do the same
