I have almost one and a half good selfie angles. I needed a headshot picture of myself for something so I took a billion and am narrowing things down but I’m probably using the middle pic because I’m scowling less in that one.
So I kind of disappeared off the face of tumblr for a good while. There wasn’t a particular reason, just too many things to keep up with, I think. Anyway, I’m still alive (kind of). Some updates: -been on T for a bit over a year. I’m a bass now. It’s interesting. Has not affected my karaoke game at all. It has opened up a lot of fun options, actually, because it’s very funny to sing stuff like shania Twain and Britney as a bass. -achieved master ranking in cosplay craftsmanship by winning best masters (entered as a journeyman and got bumped up) at nekocon, with Dorian. -had top surgery slightly over a week ago. Can’t wait to get back in the gym because oh boy I am not in beach body shape quite yet. -learned how to make metal armor (it’s a pain in the ass fyi). -finally made Nakago after saying for years I was gonna cosplay him. Idk how often I’m gonna be using tumblr in the future but I’m also on instagram with the same username as here. I usually at least post some pics after conventions so I’m slightly more active over there. If you’re at momocon, MCC, dragoncon, or nekocon this year, come say hi. I’ll be in Dorian at some point for all these cons, so you can find me that way. Ironic that he somehow became my signature cosplay, but life is weird.

Fjord spaulder before I put it together. I'm going to use strips of leather underneath and rivet the pieces to that because I already have limited range of motion in my right arm (impingement from broken shoulder) so I need the other to be as mobile as possible. I may do another round of weathering after I put it together.

I’m REALLY REALLY SORRY FOR THE AWFUL HANDWRITING. SAI doesn’t seem to have a text tool (maybe i’m just a dumbass and didn’t see it) and I only figured out how to make the text look nicer when I was about to finish, and my hand is in way too much pain to fix all the text. So if there’s something you don’t understand, please feel free to message me and I’ll try to clear it up :)
EDIT: I forgot to mention… Make sure to use some good quality heavy thread to ensure minimum breakage and other problems. I don’t think I could give you any names since I don’t really know how thread measurements(?) work in countries other than my own but the people who work at hobby stores should be able to help you.
