I think what's most unnerving is that in a matter of months/weeks/days someone can go from being your person, you're best friend, your whole world to being a complete stranger all over again. I just think that's the saddest thing

The premise for the movie Anastasia is so ridiculous but somehow they turned it into a work of beautiful timeless art it’s astounding
Anastasia is a cinematic masterpiece with almost no actual historical facts in it that I will love and defend until the day I die
Friend: you good?
Me, on my 11th cocktail:
No Woman Should Wonder
No woman should ever have to sit alone in her room and wonder where she went wrong. She shouldn't have to sit in silence while tormented with more questions than answers or be burdened with the memory of kisses that now feel more like the sting of a bee than it's honey. She shouldn't have to wonder why she gave everything she had to a man who didn't appreciate the walking phenomenon that she is. She shouldn't have to wonder why simply loving a man isn't enough. She shouldn't have to see pictures of the woman who replaced her and feel disdain for a complete stranger because of a promise that you failed to keep.
A woman should never have to wonder what you're thinking at a moments notice without being able to ask. She shouldn't be plagued by her dreams now turned nightmares about the color and shape of your eyes or her favorite freckle on your neck. She shouldn't have to miss the kisses hello or goodnight or the laughter from your shared tweets. She shouldn't have to apologize to her friends for wrongfully defending you honor and her heart shouldn't sink at the idea of not being able to be around her friends knowing she might run into you. She shouldn't have to shudder at the thought of finding you in a crowded room where she once searched for you joyfully.
She shouldn't have to feel like she isn't enough. Because she is enough. It's you that isn't.
She shouldn't have to pick up the pieces of herself that you shattered. She shouldn't have to wonder why she has to. And she doesn't have to apologize for how she fixes what you broke. Because she shouldn't have to wonder about any of this. Because you shouldn't have left.
Because you should have stayed
this is the true definition of “risk-taking”
You never know what people have to go home to, always be kind.
The ending of the story with the first man I ever loved
