Frostbite anyone?

Protecting your skin is essential. Frostbite season is back in full swing. Do you know how to protect yourself?

Layer Your Clothing Properly

Below are a couple tips around layering your clothing. Layering your clothing is still the best way to protect yourself when your out in the cold, freezing and wet weather.

1 - Layer your clothing, loosely. Tight clothing raises your risk of frostbite. Instead, choose loose layers that allow body heat to get around.

2 - Put on 3 layers of clothes. The first layer should be made of material that will keep you dry. The second layer goes over the first and should be the "insultator" layer; made of fibers such as wool or fleece. The third and final layer should be placed on top and should be wind and water proof.

Simple to perform, easy to understand and very protective!
