lil scribbles of kathryn imploding at liam starting to walk. :) i think theyd probably sign to him to walk toward them but omg that first time they see him doing it and hes like completely oblivious to them freaking out about it and they dont wanna distract him from doing it hahaha

i think we were saying liam would be a pretty quiet baby who dont cry very often. and that worries them cuz its so different from the triplets and its not what they expected hohoho. he like DOESNT keep them up at night crying and that has them restless waiting to hear him. just a lil quiet baby. :)

every so often ill humor the idea of doing likeeeee a Pirate!AU for Voyager,,,,,, it's not really that developed in my head, I just like to think about Janeway and Chakotay both captaining their own ships and eventually becoming one crew aboard Janeway's ship the Voyager after Chakotay's ship gets destroyed. like same scenario, janeway's ship is part of a fleet tasked with capturing the maquis pirates and all that. inevitably it's very Odyssey core with their adventures. :)

i honestly just scribbled these out really tiny,,,,, id probably establish some kind of starfleet regalia,,, and translate the pips into their uniforms somehow,,,,, and then the Maquis crew members at least in the beginning have things that differentiate them from the starfleet crew as well, i doodled it as an insignia with the Maquis symbol + lil sash on chakotay hehe.

BUT LIKE as they journey and stuff their ship takes heavy damage in battle(s) and they have to do repairs and upgrades on it constantly and they gradually drop a lot of the starfleet upkeep on their uniforms and stuff and inevitably they end up looking a lot more like a crew of pirates themselves and they become a little infamous for causing problems across the seas but theyre good guys they dont pilage they beat up bullies and go exploring and try to help out where they can

im having so much fun reading the String Theory trilogy and getting microscopic nuggies for Suspiria and the Caretaker hehe. :3 i'd just read today that those two Nacene are considered to be the youngest of the Exiled bunch, which I like to think makes them a little brash and naive and childlike (despite being some of the oldest beings in existence). AND LIKE, in the book the two of them are tasked/forced??? (as in like their minds get manipulated/altered and their purposes in life change???) by their leader to watch over and care for the Ocampans. AND WITH THAT it was making me ponder if maybe as a consequence of living a single goal-oriented existence, like,,,, maybe theyre A LITTLE unexposed to other lesser beings, having devoted their entire lives to the Ocampans. like they know A LOT theyre omnipotent beings but sometimes Suspiria will experience witnessing a chicken lay an egg for example and not know that there's like, a step missing for egg to have chick inside. LIKE LITERALLYYYYY if her and the caretaker were mates and the Caretaker was doing YOU KNOW things to try and find a being that would be compatible with him to make an offspring,,,, and she like, Bailed lol,,,,, maybe she was just totally disinterested in the prospect of creating a child and she dont really know how to outside of like, ocampan six day hand holding elogium breeding sessions lololol. VERY LONGWINDED IDEA THATS WHERE I WAS PSYCHOLOGICALLY TODAY HAHA. anyway i think suspiria would like to watch Goldie sit on her eggs and brood hehe.

i might flesh these out more i might not lol. some of them i felt INSPIRED on and some i didnt. :V also had names in mind for some of them and not for others lol. generally speaking the idea is that the voyager crew and the maquis are like, two groups in conflict. starfleet is a warren, and the maquis are just a bunch of deserter rogue bunnies causing problems who janeway (Haven) is set out to capture. ummmm i figureeeed MAYBE that the caretaker plot would be that a small group from each side gets captured by the "caretaker" and they get transported somewheeeere like a lab or something and then they have to work together to escape and find their home (or make a new one together *winks mysteriously*).

Part of me has the thought that like, Kathryn would have pumpkin cravings and would ask her mom to do things for her but Gretchen would make her go start the crops and everything herself. (Maybe being a little moody about Kathryn not disclosing her pregnancy with her mother until she needed to) Another part is like,,, Gretchen would probably bend over backwards to get her firstborn daughter what she wants and everything while she has her and Kathryn would help her out and get back into gardening. Another part is like, well maybe Gretchen started the pumpkins before Kathryn arrives on Earth lol. It's like a three to four month interval for pumpkins I think.
