Honestly I thought my last post about this wpuld have been the finale bit I’ve seen so much hate towards Jon that I have to add things in here.

Jon met a stranger whose family supposedly ruined his, he chose to bend the knee despite reservations. He saw who she was, that she wasnt what she was rumored and feared to be. He admired her as a woman and a leader. Jon and Dany BOTH fell in love. But they fight It, they push it aside because there are bigger problems at hand.

They go home to the north. There’s problems with the northerners and his family. Jon still stays true. But then comes the ball buster they’re related. She’s his aunt and he grows distant. He doesn’t know what to think or feel. Still he tells her the truth. He trusts her with that despite knowing he is now the legitimate air. They fight together and they win. In fact she saves him. The northerners still don’t give her credit. Jon still assures her he doesn’t want the throne. She wants him and he still not come to terms with her being his aunt in TWO DAYS gently rejects her.

He doesn’t push her away but she takes it as such. She begs him to keep his secret from everyone including his family. Yes she’s right yes he couldn’t trust Sansa but everyone needs to understand this is his FAMILY. Jon does not lie. He truly thought he could trust his family.

But Dany is slowly starting her decent. She lost her best freind, her greatest freind. The one person to stand by her always. Then she looses Rhaegal. Another child lost. Misandei is next.

She feels alone. She is tired of Mercy. She knows her own people are conspiring against her and she knows Jon told his family. Varys approaches Jon he tells him no he doesn’t want it. He supports Dany. He refuses to listen any more. He goes to her tries to comfort her but she wants more from him. He tells her he loves her. He tells her she is his queen. He supports her. But she goes on a rant about not having love there only fear and tries once again to be with him. He can’t be with her sexually right then. To be fair to him that is completely acceptable. It has been no more than maybe a week or two and she is his AUNT. That’s hard for anyone to follow and the regular sane (non bad writing) Dany would have understood that, maybe not at first but she would give him time. However what we get is Dany drawing away pulling out of Jons grip despite him trying to still hold her. Her stating let it be fear then before walking away from him.

She executes Varys and despite not agreeing Jon is right at her side. They storm the city and despite Jon not wanting to fight he is right there on the front lines with her most trusted soilder. And when the bells chime in surrender, when Dany had every reason to stand down. Insyead she flies over head burning thousands of innocent civilians.

I am a dany fan. I always have been. Dany has always been a strong inspiration for me and despite bad things shrs done it’s been justifiable. But NO ONE can justify burning little children in their beds and the arms of their mothers. Innocent civilians died by the thousands in those streets. Chared remains littering the side walks. Men raped and pillaged. All things Dany NEVER stood for and Jon was witness to it all.

He watched as people screamed and burned infront of him. He watched her easily burn everything but her own army. And he didn’t understand. This was not the woman he loved. This was not who all those people loved and adored. This was not Daenerys.

And when it is over he climbs those stairs and he stands by her side and he listens to a speech where she speaks of liberating people all over the kingdom. Even the North. The north where his family is. Where the people he grew up with are. And he knows what will happen. She arrests Tyrion he knows what happens after that. He’s seen it with Varys. He goes to speak to him and Tyrion tells him everything he knows is true yet he argues for her. He stands by her despite seeing the evil she had done on those streets.

No one can tell me Jon should have chosen Dany. No one can tell me in the mindset she was in that she was fit to rule. Millions of people would die. And that has NEVER been Jon. Jon knows what is right. He knows what he has to do.

He goes to find her. He approaches her tells her the horror he saw. And her explanation? It was all Cersei. She made her do it. She did it for the greater good. She justified slaughtering all of those people.

And Jon knows now there is no saving her. She believes in her heart what she did was right. She even tells him conquer with her, she needs him by her side. That he knows what’s right and he does. He literally sobbs. He sobbs and shakes his head and tells her no. He doesn’t know because his heart tells him it screams at him this isn’t right. He can’t do what he knows he has to for millions of lives.

He tells her he loves her that shes his queen now and always.

And he gives her their last real kiss and as he does it he whimpers. Whimpers. And as she falls that is a broken man that is a man who instantly wants to take it back.

Jon did LOVE Dany. He loved her with every part of him. But to say Jon snow would sit back and watch more city’s be burned is laughable. Yes the writing to lead to dany’s decent into madness was terrible. Yes I HATE it. I can’t stand it. But to say Jon doesnt love her is bull

He was broken. That man stayed in that cell and accepted his punishment because he believes it’s what he deserves. He saved millions doing what he had to do but yet he believed he deserved. Hate on the writing. Hate on the writers but don’t hate on Jon for being a plot device toward driving Dany insane. Everything he did was true to character. Everything they did concerning her in the end was not. What they did to Daenerys was wrong. But Jon in the end did what he had to do.

This is spot on. I hate that it came to this and will always be a little angry and disappointed, but to say that Jon Snow never loved her is plain bull. Jon Snow loved Daenerys Targaryen and hated that this was what he had to do and a large part of me believes that he wanted Drogon to burn him.

The writing was just plain bad and I'll always stand behind Daenerys Targaryen, but I'll always stand behind Jon Snow as well.

This is to fucking funny.

When I first saw this episode I thought it referred to Bud Hyde, but in reality it refers to Hyde’s first true respectable father figure. And that is some touching shit I never expected from this show.

Red and Hyde were the best.

Nobody finds it haunting that Jackie encouraged Hyde to have great chances in his professional life and wanted a stable, comfy life with him a loving husband, and didn’t want to be like her mother but ended with a playboy/shampoo boy, no job, no car, no healthy relationship, no stable family, and as shallow as her mother or even worse; while Hyde, who never thought great of himself, ended owning a record store, econimically stable life, rich new family that loves him, but is completely alone like he always predicted he would be? Because I think about it all the time.
