TOS Bones as Alice.
Maybe I should try doing Spock as the white rabbit next🧐
can't believe how much this website lied to me! had me believing tom paris was a one dimensional pathetic joke whose relevance is relegated to one episode in which he turns into a lizard. disgustaeieng!!!!! he's a gangly captain america!! a casual bisexual! a wife guy!! an utter and complete best friend to 6 people!!! a man who unironically enjoys margaritaville!!! a giggler!! a papa!! my sweet cheese!! my rotten soldier!! my good time boy!!!!
The dude has some serious character development. And one of the neat things is it's done pretty well; considering Tom at the end of the series you can see he still has some Early Tom in him, but he's figured out more constructive ways of channeling some of his personality traits
Tng transporter accident episode where Riker is turned into a dog
Shenanigans ensue trying to turn him back also there’s some other conflict that is somehow solved by Riker being a dog, y’know normal trek stuff
More importantly, there’s a new ensign who never knew Riker and arrived just after the initial shock of him becoming a dog. So they never really hear about how Commander Riker was turned into a dog in some freak transporter accident and just assume that somehow the enterprise has had a dog as their first officer all these years. They’re a little confused as to how a dog was one of the top graduates in his class at the academy and is regarded as one of the enterprise’s top pilots but it’s the enterprise so who are they to judge, this big slobbery dog very well could have done all of those things
Imagine their shock when they find out that this isn’t what the Commander is supposed to look like
Fantastic idea I love it

i love that for some reason janeway thinks seven of nine would be good at role-playing on the holodeck. “the only way to save millions of lives is to get into the spirit of things”
is there
a single worse person
on that ship
to give this job to? 😂
I often say do not fuck with Captain Janeway. But also, do not fuck with Seven of Nine.
I believe in the Spock universes theory that states that every time Spock is played by someone new we are watching a different timeline.
TOS: Nimoy Spock, Prime universe
TNG: Nimoy Spock, Prime universe
DS9: Trials and Tribble-ations had Nimoy Spock, even without the TNG crossover it’s still Prime universe
Voyager: No Spock, but pilot episode crossed over with DS9, Barkley crossed over from TNG, most likely Prime universe
Enterprise: predates the Spock schism and therefore belongs to all universes
‘Kelvin’ movies: Two Spocks. Nimoy Spock is specifically stated to come from the future Prime universe and the events featuring Quinto Spock are now a new, branched timeline
Discovery: Peck Spock, new timeline. Other notable changes include the style and advancement of technology and the fact that the Klingons appear to have solved their forehead ridge-flattening troubles, plus added extra for good luck
SNW: Peck Spock, crossover with Discovery. Same universe
Lower Decks: Somehow exists in a universe where all things are simultaneously canon, probably due to some weird phenomena
It is, however, all Trek.
The fact that Jonny Sims voices Jack Seward in Re: Dracula has once again both made and ruined my day. HOW am I supposed to focus on work when Seward is telling me about Renfield's flies in the same tone as the Archivist tells me about the horrors? The expectation that I could focus on anything but the creeping dread and morbid curiosity evoked by that man narrating Experiences is entirely in error. I simply cannot.
New headcanon: The Archivist is Jack Seward. He just forgot about it by the time the events of The Magnus Archives rolled around.
Corollary 1: Dracula and The Magnus Archives take place in the same universe
Corollary 2: The reason Dracula is not mentioned in The Magnus Archives is that Jack Seward/The Archivist removed all traces of it.
Janeway to Tuvok in Season 3 Episode 6 "Remember":
Tuvok to Janeway in Season 3 Episode 4 "The Swarm", literally two episodes prior:
When you ignore the temporal prime directive as much as Janeway, sometimes you lose track of precisely when something has happened
What was Naomi Wildman doing during the events of Workforce and Workforce part II?
I really shouldn’t be allowed to listen to the SNW theme song in the car or while operating heavy machinery because it makes me Not Normal. Aside from the fact that it is a really lovely remix of the TOS theme, it’s also just…… GOT ELEMEMENTS AND LAYERS. On one hand, there is this drum beat that suggests a march - it’s a steady beat with a prominent snare drum that makes you feel like you are supposed to march. The rest of the music, however, SAILS. It flies. It’s hopeful, even when it dips into lower octaves. This march isn’t a military march, it’s an expedition. This is a group of explorers heading into the jungle with hope in their hearts and an exciting heading. I’M FINE I SWEAR.
Give yourself more credit! You're doing a fine job of expressing how different elements of the piece contribute to the overall feeling and your emotional reaction to it
Assassin who just takes hits out on people who mildly annoy you.
Raise Dead is a 5th level spell that costs 500g and an hour of your time, making murder an ideal way to punish people who double park.
Getting a surprisingly high number of complaints about the economics of my murder prank idea from what I assume is Big Staying Alive.
Isn't Big Staying Alive just Aretha Franklin?
A stupid little edit I made ages ago because I loved Janeway's faces.

If I had a nickel for every time Jonathan Sims played a horror podcast character who records their thoughts into an old-timey recording device and shares the diminutive of his name, I would have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird it happened twice.
