ok i changed my mind yall can have this unfinished painting bc imma not finish it and they're cute. Plus i need more t4t boostle propaganda.

Happy disability pride now because they're both disabled canonically too. Yes!

Reblogging because I love them but also bc I didn't know booster has a disability! Sweet!

On paper, "our founders" risked something (definitely not everything) for you to do whatever the fuck you want. You're damn right they'd be fine with you being a "weak, porn-addicted loser" that is your right as an American

actually you know what that's exactly it i would rather someone add 5 parantheticals after every sentence than use tone indicators it's 1. accomplishing SO much more in terms of clarity 2. extremely funny to look at depending on how they're used

observe:

"is this real? /gen" — i thought /gen meant "general" for ages. i would not be able to understand this on first sight a few years ago and is thus ineffective

"is this real? (genuine question)" — i fully understand this without issue

"is this real? (genuine question) (can't tell) (very realistic) (looks real) (scary) (photoshop?)" — is not only incredibly clear it's also very funny to read all of these thoughts stapled together while also in their own parentheses. it's also the most useful because now i can actually address all parts of what they are asking me with as much specificity as BOTH of us need

BRO????

THIS IS SO COOL?

I can't read old english but the second chapter is both a translation and notes on the translation/writing choices which i HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEYRE SO COOL

THE MEANINGS AND CHOICES IN TRANSLATION ARE GETTING TO ME

Also so many of them have these awesome explanations behind them and then there's this:

"The Old English word for “doctor”, læce, literally means “leech”, which he would hate being called so, so much that I immediately had to use it for him."

LIKE YEAH THATLL DO IT LMAO

GO CHECK IT OUT ITS INTERESTING AF

Superman as a symbol is nice I enjoy him but more importantly Clark Kent as a guy is incredibly funny. Midwesterner who’s nigh indestructible because he’s also from space. Weirdly jacked guy working in an office building who says ope let me sneak right past ya

He’s like “oh I’m just some guy” while also carrying the entire world on his shoulders. And just being nice and helpful in normal ways too he’s the type of guy who opens pickle jars for you. He’s the guy of all time

“Kirk being your favorite Star Trek captain is a red flag—“ shut the fuck up I am bopping you over the head with inflatable hammers. Look past the misguided pop culture conception of Kirk as a womanizing jerk and see the golden-hearted bookworm who fiercely loves his crewmates and chugs Respect Women Juice within

As a nonbinary person, snw 2.02 felt like an allegory for trans experiences (talking about physical changes, some Illyrians don't "pass" as human)

I bring this up because this means they used a character played by former internationally famous supermodel Rebecca Romijn to create a trans allegory

Think about that and let it fill you with joy as it did me
