So I’ll cut to the chase on this since a lot of people are dying, drowning, and screaming for help in Cagayan and Isabela, Philippines. A lot of them have also been stranded and are standing on their rooftops as we speak.

I’m here to post a collection of donation drives that I’ve gathered online. If we can’t help them physically, we can at least make sure they have monetary assistance, food and clothing once they’re evacuated.

For context:

The Philippines has been hit by three consecutive typhoons this month alone: Quinta, Rolly (Goni internationally) and Ulysses. It’s been hitting nearly the same areas, which has made them even more vulnerable now that they’re still recovering from the previous typhoons. Our mountain ranges couldn’t shield us from this due to heavy quarrying and deforestation.

That said, these aren’t the only places in need of assistance. But these are the places in urgent need of help. And we’re trying to do as best as we can with what little we have.

I’ll update this post from time to time for full transparency.

I have seen my fair share of unspeakable, ridiculous, self righteous nonsense in my time in this fandom. I have done my fair share of receiving said unspeakable, ridiculous, self righteous nonsense, but I have absolutely had it.

Over the last couple days I have heard of some unspeakable acts people have committed against their fellow fandom members in a shallow, gutless attempt to cut others down to boost themselves up. Creators using their platforms to send people after other creators they don’t agree with. People sending anonymous asks that would be brought up on criminal charges if they happened anywhere else but this godless website. Creators bullying, harassing, and otherwise destroying the lives of people they don’t even know in an attempt to play the victim for a few shabby sympathy messages and a handful of likes and reblogs.

I want you all to know, whether you’re guiltless or otherwise: I will NOT tolerate your hatred and immaturity and lack of humanity and compassion. The Arcana Game is a game created for ALL consumers. Reguardless of race, gender, sexuality, identity, personality, background— This game is for EVERYONE. And so is it’s fandom.

This fandom is not exclusive to people who can emulate the arcana art style. This fandom is not exclusive to people with a certain number of followers. This fandom is not exclusive to people with cis apprentices. This fandom is not exclusive to women. This fandom is not exclusive to white people.

YOUR HATRED OF PEOPLE WHO ARE DIFFERENT FROM YOU, PEOPLE WHO THINK DIFFERENTLY FROM YOU, AND PEOPLE WHO CREATE DIFFERENT THINGS FROM YOU DOES NOT BELONG IN THIS FANDOM. AND UNTIL I CHOOSE TO LEAVE THIS FANDOM ONCE AND FOR ALL, I WILL SEE YOUR TOXIC, SELFISH, EGOTISTICAL WITCH HUNTING DIRECTLY OUT OF THIS SAFE PLACE.

You know who you are if you’ve already done this, and this is the warning shot across the bow of anyone who has considered trying to hurt someone else for any reason.

Apprentice Positivity Pt.2

Important! I never thought I’d sit down again and make a post like the first one, but I think it’s needed.  This’ll be a long post, I’ll appreciate if you take the time to read this and spread the word. 

@anonbunnyart recently made an instagram post that inspired me to add more thoughts to my previous post.  Please check out their post on instagram and spead the word!  I think we all need to read it. 

First of all I’d love to say thank you for all of you who reblogged the first post and spread the word. Thank you so much for your support, kind words and your stories that you shared either in addition to my post as you reblogged it, or left in the tags. I truly appreciate it 💖 

I started to play The Arcana in 2019 September, in the beginning of October I joined the fandom and uploaded the first drawing of my apprentice. Before I joined, I only drew art of my original characters. Why is that? I’ve seen so many great fandoms I wanted to be the part of, but as soon as I saw the hate and toxicity that surrounded some of them I couldn’t help but got scared. Scared that if I do or say something wrong there’ll be hundreds and thousands of people ready to ruin me. I sticked to only being someone who enjoyed fandoms as a viewer. I never did fanart for any seeing how artists can be dragged around for even the smallest mistakes they made. Or driven to even worse. 

When I came accross this game and went through the tags, I was genuinely surprised by the fairly small amount of hate posts, or none at all at that time. They were more like unpopular opinions, but I can’t recall seeing hateful posts. Majority of the posts I came across were nice, funny and postive. I thought, it’d be fun to join, this fandom looked so unproblematic. The people whose art,  writing or cosplay I saw, they seemed like they did what they did to have fun and create content for something they all genuinely enjoy and love. My close friends were even happy for me that I wanted to finally contribute to a fandom I enjoyed without being scared. 

I’m not in the fandom for a very long time like some of the creators, but even I could notice a shift. When I entered the fandom, it seemed I was right. Majority of the people I interacted with and got to know were kind, sweet and very welcoming. I was so happy.  Why did I mention the time I joined? Because not even 2 months into this fandom . I already received anon hate for my MC’s design, which made me write the first part of the apprentice positivity post you all know. 

Lately I came accross more and more hate. People not only criticizing each other’s apprentices, but for what matters anything some content creators put out. As if they are looking for the smallest mistakes in someone’s art/writing/cosplay, or something to twist and turn to bring someone down. Looking for things that are not even there to begin with, planning call out posts and stirring unnecessary drama.  Not to mention some of these hateful people don’t contribute to this fandom at all (besides hate posts and anon hate), and they are the ones judging the people who create the content they see. No wonder some artists don’t feel comfortable posting on this platform anymore and headed over to insta.  How do I know? I talk to these people, and they expressed how sad and disappointed they are to see what this fandom became. The toxicity reached a level I don’t even know what to call. 

I’m only speaking from my own experiences, and from what other content creators shared with me. 

If you have nothing better to do than to sit around and send anon hate, picking apart anyone’s art/writing/cosplay and twisting it around to make them look bad. You need to get a new hobby, you have no place in this fandom, and you need to get back to reality and remember that this is a game that was created for everyone to enjoy. The Arcana Game was created for ALL consumers to enjoy. Which means all genders, sexualities, races, personalities, indentities and backgrounds.  Both the devs and the creators in this fandom put so much of their time, effort and love into their works and some choose to completely ignore all what they gave us. 

Remember. All MCs are valid and beautiful. All who contribute to this fandom and post their beautiful works are valid and beautiful.  Let people enjoy the game and spread positivity.

We DON’T need or tolerate hate in this fandom. I really had enough of cancel culture, of people trying to turn other people against each other, twisting words or making witch-hunts. It has no place in this fandom, it has no place in any fandom honestly.

Apprentice Positivity

This may not be a funny meme, an art work or fanfic, but I think it’s just as important. It might be a long post, I’ll appreciate if you take the time to read this and spread the word. This post is about artists in The Arcana Fandom, their apprentice OCs and being supportive towards each other.

Yesterday I received anon hate for my MC’s look. The anon said my MC is “ A big titted bimbo looking dumbass whore “. ( You can check out the post. ) From what I get this person implies that any MC / OC with a big bust size is automatically unintelligent , slutty and lacks personality. Apparently any OC that is confident, shows skin, is comfortable in their body, or expressing their sexuality is bad. Which means any OC that is covered up, has little to no bust is automatically well written and smart. You’d think anon hate and slutshaming died out by now, but it’s still present to these days.

The person clearly knew nothing about my MC’s backstory, personality or motives and made some assumptions based solely on her apperance. If you ever received hate on your MC, I’m here with you.

The Arcana MC is a fun character because they are costumizable. The MC doesn’t have a certain design like in most dating games. As the player of the game, the apprentice’s look is completely up to your imagination. That includes: their looks, personality, gender, sexuality, and many more details.

All MCs were made with love,time and effort. The creators behind them had fun designing them, and making their ideas come to life with drawing or writing. By degrading and comparing them, you clearly don’t give a damn about all the thoughts the creator put into them. The superior or inferior MC design doesn’t exist. Some people even have a personal connection to their MC, so you may be insulting the very person behind the character.

This game was made to be enjoyed, to have fun with as you play it and to bond with others who love it. If you are only in this fandom to spread toxicity, or to tell someone that their MC is less than someone else’s, you clearly shouldn’t be here. For many people it means a lot that the MC could look and act however they want. It helps them develop a stronger connection to them.  There is no right or wrong way to create an MC. Let people enjoy the game and spread positivity.
