let's take nudes together
A picture of Freddie Oversteegen, a Dutch girl who was the unsuspecting killer of dozens of Nazis. Along with her friend Hannie and her sister Truus, the girls worked with a team from the Dutch Resistance to lure men into the woods for a promised kiss. Once they reached a remote location, the men got a bullet to the head instead.
……..Iconic
A tragic event
There are two problems with this.
First, it assumes that every German soldier stationed in the Netherlands was an ideological Nazi. This is objectively false. The Wehrmacht was filled with conscripts who were legally required to serve in the war, just like most American soldiers. Most volunteers headed toward the far more ideologically rigorous Waffen SS. Occupation armies in the West consisted of Wehrmacht soldiers.
Second, the type of soldier most likely to fall for this ruse would be one a naive and young one. The soldiers committing crime during the occupation would probably not care about following a girl into the woods for a tender kiss. They’d just outright assault or rape her. As a result, she was probably picking off the most harmless soldiers. The soldiers committing real crime likely carried on without care.
This girl was no hero. The real heroes of this war were the soldiers who endured unimaginable hardship and death in service to their countries.
Kill all thots
Millions of innocent people were mercilessly slaughtered by Nazi’s. This is objectively true. The “dozens” of “Nazi’s” that were tricked into a death trap is just a drop in the bucket in comparison.
>Nazi’s
This isn’t a numbers game my friend. The merciless slaughters that took place in Nazi occupied zones were mostly carried out by ideologically commited Einsatzgruppen and SS units in the East, not the Wehrmacht. You have missed the entire point of my post. The soldiers she was helping kill were most likely not responsible for such crimes. Thus her efforts were probably miniscule and futile. Either way, to call her a hero is an insult to soldiers on all sides of the war.
I had an interesting morning. I got through the majority of your blog, which had a lot of really cool pictures and information. You’re very educated. I took an intense course on the Holocaust in college…it’s a lot to take in, let alone remember. One of the things I think some people forget, which I certainly did, is that there needs to be a primary source for this type of information. You’re right, it’s not a numbers game. I went back to this original post to re-read it…and there’s no source. We don’t know if any of this is true. For all we know, this might just be a generic picture of someone with absolutely no relation to the context below it. I did not mean to insinuate that ones life is worth less than another’s, regardless of what side they’re fighting for. Is there a primary source for this @bundyspooks ?
Yeah, google.
Charles Severance is a serial killer who targeted strangers in their home, shooting them to death in broad daylight. His victims were all over the age of 58, and he left their bodies in the homes where they were shot, meaning that their families had to discover the brutal crime scenes.
During court proceedings Severance’s behaviour was bizarre and difficult, to the point that his attorneys asked to be removed from the case as there had been a breakdown in their relationship and communication was not possible between them and their client. Severance appointed a new lawyer who claimed that Severance had undiagnosed mental health problems that contributed significantly to the crimes.
Severance was sentenced to life in prison, with an additional 48 years, in 2016. Prior to sentencing Severance was given the chance to make a statement, during which he rambled, citing from ‘the Book of Common Prayer’ and ‘the 37th Article of Religion’

If I ever mugged someone, I would only demand half of their money, just so it would be less believable to the police.
