The Uchiha are THE number one glasses needing clan, they are just too vain and pretentious to buy them. Having a Sharingan translates directly to signing up for deteriorating eyesight, it is the top cause for blindness in the Shinobi world!

Do you remember Itachi? This man spent his whole life being BLIND.

Sasuke? He had the Mangekyō for one day and immediately needed his eyes to be replaced!

Madara! He would have lurked in some dark corner of the Uchiha clan basement for the remainder of his time, had his brother not sacrificed his life and eyes for him.
