Beth is so with Edwards

Since I don’t have school today (bethus bless all the juniors taking the SAT right now) I decided to check out Alexandria on that 360 tour. The infirmary was added so I clicked it. Beth just litters the set.

First of all, there are candles everywhere. I took a tally of the whole set and there were 25 candles and one lantern. So many candles aren’t necessary because the ASZ has electricity. It’s why the kids Carl met with could play video games. Logically, the infirmary would want to be relying on electricity because not only does it provide a stronger, brighter light source, it’s also stable. A doctor needs good light to see what he/she’s doing and to look over a patient. Candle light is great if you don’t have any options, but it wavers/flickers and eventually dies down. Plus it’s technically a fire hazard. So why all the candles? Because candles connect to Beth, the light at the end of the tunnel. :D

And above the mantle in the cabinet is a gold/dark yellow box. It’s most likely not a music box, but it’s markings and shape immediately made me think of that infamous box haunting us.

On the desk there’s a mortar and pestle. There’s a mortar and pestle in one of TF’s houses and the only one we’ve seen actually used is the one Beth used in Slabtown. When we see it, we’re meant to think of her/connect her to it. For me, it foreshadows that Beth will be Edwards’s assistant/pupil. Doctors are so valuable and rare in this world, they should be training others should any more die. It’s like having an heir and a spare. When they get there, Edwards is going to want/need an assistant like in Grady, and if Pete had one, Edwards isn’t exactly going to trust him/her. He’d trust Beth and her him after their time together on the road.

Finally, there’s so much green. Near the door, opposite the kitchen is a cabinet with a ton of books in shades of green. There’s variation of green book covers on all three shelves, the most prominent being the highest. Then on top of the bookcase there are boxes that are either green or marked with green labels.

It’s one thing to connect her to TF’s houses. When she gets to Alexandria, she’d live with her family. But they’d only connect her to the infirmary because not only of Grady but because her future at the ASZ is tied to it.

Oh my goodness this is brilliant. I’d looked at this all before but never got to post my findings. But what I’m getting ready to post about reworking all the clocks into 6 ties into this perfectly and you’re going to love what I found. Anywho I love what you said about all the colors and there is a lot of blue too. There were a ton of blue items surrounding Beth at Grady as well. Blue scrubs, a blue key, etc. And in the cafeteria Beth is choosing her food and she chooses the tray with the blue cup instead of the green cup. This could be representative of her taking on a different role being that she’s taking Andrea’s arc or that she will have a new job now. Before she was more known for her role as caretaker. Maybe in ASZ she’ll be a medical provider. Blue is color of healing. Since we see this color at both of these places, it makes sense that it’s tied to Beth. Great post!!

ok so I am here for my TD family that were let down by to night. But I was never 100% convinced the Bethyl reunion would happen in the finale any way. SG had too much going on. Think about it? why squeeze it in last minute? sure a cliff hanger with Beth might have broke the Internet but we’d have spent all the hiatus with more waiting. I’m still TD & I think she’ll be back S6 when SG has more time to give us a real emotional reunion. all those signs and that for shadowing for Beth couldn’t be for nothing. so if you agree reblog. I want to see how many TDers are still out there.

I will be team delusional until everything is answered.. Until all the weird from 5b is answered. Until they confirm in someway on the show that beth is in fact dead. I’ll still be here.
