New York-based artist Marcus Poston composes handmade lighting, which spells out heartwarming and positive messages. The custom neon lights are a labor of love designed to commemorate monumental events and adorned your favorite spaces in your home, as a symbol of keepsake.

Classically composed, most of the pieces are made from neon and wood with a mix of repurposes objects with unique characteristics.  Encrypted with tender words of feelings of love, home, adventure and positive dialogues, all of Poston’s work is customizable. Imaginative Paper Origami Creations By Gonzalo Calvo

Gonzalo García Calvo, musician and artist based in Madrid, has an obsession with folding paper. He turns simple sheets of parchment into intricate origami sculptures of animals, objects and sci-fi figures inspired by the best origami artists .His fingers itch to pleat paper together until it turns into one of his minuscule dogs, owls, mystical Pegasus or convincing Easter Island head figurines.

To bring the paper forms to life, Calvo uses different textures and colors and techniques used by expert origami artists, as well as a touch of his own. 

Some of the best paper specimens in his collection are the white crane - in the middle of an elegant dance with ruffled feathers and a graceful neck arched towards the sky, as well as a stout-bodied ox with an uncanny resemblance to a real bull. Even his delicate creation of a violin looks good enough to play a few small chords with!

Constructed with complicated finger work and passion, Calvo never fails to challenge himself by transforming a flat piece of paper into a crinkly, yet impressive character poised in action.
