A reminder for the girls with big plans

To all the girls with big dreams, who have been told that they are ‘too preoccupied with success’, or that they are ‘too selfish’ or ‘too ambitious’ - do not listen to the people who speak those words. If you love something that much, and will pursue it to the ends of the earth, do not give it up for anyone. Hold it close to your heart and understand that you are not obligated to dim your sparkle for anybody. In your life, there will always be people who tell you that you are too much or too little. They will say a woman is too assertive, or too reserved. They will say she feels too little or too much, that ambition is selfish. They may even be hurt or offended that you do not think the same. Yet at the end of the day, know in your heart that you are the only one who will ever know whether you are truly enough and that is what’s important. Go out there and smash the glass ceiling to pieces.

Hey @where-roses-bloom ! Merry Christmas! I really enjoyed being your #studyblrsecretsanta this year, even though I haven’t been super consistent with my messaging! As a little two-in-one gift, here’s a cookie recipe and this cozy Christmas playlist (perfect for baking to).

Holiday Pumpkin Spice Cookies!
ingredients
- 4 ¾ cups of all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- however much salt you feel like you want/need
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 ½ tsp ground ginger
- 2 sticks of salted butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 ½ tsp pure vanilla extract
- ½ cup dark molasses
directions
1. firstly, you need to cream together your sugar and butter. it helps if your butter is fairly soft. please be sure to get out as many clumps as possible and make the sugar-and-butter combo look fairly fluffy. and a fair warning: most of this recipe goes smoother if you literally do everything by hand. no spoon, no mixer. get hands on with it.
2. next, you need to add in your eggs, molasses, and vanilla extract. again, this goes smoother if you get hands-on with it. it’s pretty gross feeling, but it helps smooth out the clumps in you butter.
3. then you need to add your flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and ginger. you may be tempted to replace your all-purpose flour and baking soda for some self-rising flour, but don’t do it. i speak from experience. you can, but expect balls of cookie instead of actual cookie.
4. sift the dry ingredients together on top of the wet ones before folding it into the dough. this part definantly needs to be done by hand, as the dough gets too thick for any normal mixer. fold the dough into itself until it is all one uniform color
5. split the dough into two parts and either wrap them in saran wrap or bag them up in ziploc bags. stick those puppies into the freezer for a good 30-45 minutes. if you want to wait to bake the cookies, the dough is good in the freezer for about a month.
6. once you’re ready to bake your cookies, heat your oven up to 375 degrees farenheit. roll chunks of dough into gumball sized balls and place them about an inch away from each other on your cookie sheet. bake each tray for 12 minutes.
just as a warning, this recipe will make a LOT of cookies. i’ve gotten upwards of 60 generous sized cookies, so if you feel the need to, only make a half batch.
Merry Christmas and Happy Baking! ~ @stormy-study

Pear and fig jam tart (kinda healthy) 🍐

Crust: 1.5 cups flour, 5 Tbsp sugar, ½ tsp salt, 12 Tbsp melted butter. Press into pan and bake at 350° for 30 min.

Filling: 5 pears thinly sliced, melted fig jam, and cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger blend. Brush top of crust with jam and sprinkle with spice. Lay pears in circular pattern in 1 layer. Brush fig jam on first layer and sprinkle with spice. Continue layering pears, jam, and spice until finished (mine was 3 layers). Bake additional 30 min. Let cool completely 1 hour before serving.

Tips for faceslapping women

- Find her tolerance limit: First hit her softly and then gradually increase the force of each slap if you see she can take it. - Always make her close her mouth before the slap to avoid her teeth cutting inside her mouth during the slap. - Always hit her in the jaw. Never close to the ear (audition loss hazard), nose (bleeding nose harzard) or eyes. Any hit above the cheekbone (around the eye) will give her a black eye. - If you wanna slap her hard in one cheek, then is useful to support her other cheek with your other hand. This is done to avoid a strong “whiplash effect” on her head. -Avoid slapping her as a punishment/discipline. She has a fatty butt and some sensitive thighs that can be used for that purpose. Those are much safer to hit than her face. Use them. - Never slap her with anger.

A good slap puts a naughty girl immediately in her place. It makes her shut up immediately so it’s really effective against a back-talking girl. Normally it brings instant tears of submission. But it can be a severe tool, so it must be used with care.

Remember: Women are delicate beings and they are easy to break. Better play with your toys without breaking them… so you can keep on playing!

Cheers

Boost. This is actually a pretty good primer on slapping, something one doesn’t often see addressed.

This is very helpful
