It makes me happy when people click with my art. Don't really know how to word it, but I love when someone points out that my art is more uuuh realistic?? Relatability wise it is? It makes me feel like I'm doing something right

I love muscles/masc presenting women. Even if it's just clothing or the wide range of masculine body types that women carry. I love it. Sometimes I bounce between masc and femme myself, it just depends on how I feel that day. I find comfort in both.

I loved my first spidersona concept, but that's all it was. A concept.

The thing was that the design looked like my other sonas from other universes, with the thigh highs and gold/orange pop of color. It's become my thing, but it didn't fit the spiderverse theme I originally wanted. Too copy and paste (seen here my star guardian and arcane sonas)

All the first concept needed was the glasses and swap the green/blue for a midnight blue it'd be too similar

I personally didn't like all that consistency. I wanted my spidersona to look more spidey. With a suit that both fits the vibe of spiderverse, but also showed character yet still recognizable as me

The final version (2.0) is inspired by how some original spiderverse characters have some representation of where they're from. So naturally I went for my original idea and based mine off of where I'm from. Which is the bay area

My spidersona is the one and only spiderwoman "Golden-Spyder" of New San Francisco, Earth 1702

The hints at this are in the colors. I was inspired by the golden gate bridge at sunrise, and that's how I got the name 'Golden-Spyder'. With the brighter colors repping the colorful culture within the bay, and muted neutrals the often fog and grey you'd get in the mornings, because of how close to the water you are

Another hint is the name card having the golden state warriors colors

Then my spidersona's theme song is 'Go Hard or Go Home' by E-40, an og rapper from the bay. It's like 'Sunflower' to Miles. A song that's fast paced, classic, and befitting for an intro song if she'd be cast in the movies

It was more fitting for me and to the spiderverse, and I feel wayyy more connected to this design. I like showing more parts of home in it, especially since I don't live in the bay anymore... This design kinda helped express a bit how much I miss being there

These two are gay and in love but don't know it yet

Their names are Mako (they/she) and Aurelia (she/her) (older refs)

Mako lives on a beach side territory and Aurelia is from a floating oasis (think like the floating mountains from avatar, but more desert-y) Mako makes fish deliveries to Aurelia's home and they meet in the market

This is Aurelia's father Apollo and her "twin" Atticus

Apollo is matriarch of the 'Golden Herd', and hopes his only son, Atticus, will take over one day. Atti is more interested in stealing his sister's baked goods and sleeping than being the herd boss and leading his family

Apollo looks like a serious type, but he's actually prone to dad jokes every 5 minutes and will panic at the sight of dirt and grime. His hair care routine takes at least 5 hours

This las is Silk

She's Aurelia's pen pal and is the designated mom friend. Silk is gentle and motherly, often seen being flocked by foals from her community or surrounded by admirers (whose advances she always kindly declines) Silk takes occasional trips to Auri's home and tags along on Mako and Aurelia's antics (read: she supervises and makes sure they don't blow anything up... again.)

Spidersona 2.0

Okok so I got it!! Kda spiderverse au where Akali is this universes spiderwoman

Akali: Ninja Spider, her dimension's one and only spider person. When not suited and saving lives she's DJ's underground clubs. One night while packing away her supplies after a gig she got bit by a radioactive spider, and since then has been using her powers to help the people of Runterra City

Kai'sa: human bonded to a symbiote and this dimension's resident venom. Misunderstood anti hero who's trying her best. By day she's disguised as a local dance instructor, by night she hunts down bad guys that slip through the cracks. Pairs up with Akali on rare occasions for the really hard to get villains

Ahri: radio show host and "reporter". This dimension's "MJ"(she lives) and "Ned". She helps Akali by tracking police radios and keeping investigators off her tail. Often tells Akali that thanks to her natural charms no one suspects a thing. But don't let the sweet talk fool you, she might be hiding something

Evelynn: Definitely the dimension's Kingpin. Or at least...the women behind him. Eve runs most of the crime and such going on in Runterra City, from smuggling goods, organized gangs, the occasional missing persons. All her. Under the disguise of the original Kingpin, who she took out to take control over everything

I only know the basics and such about the marvel universe(s). But I've always liked Spiderman and the movies were definitely my favorite growing up. Combine that with my love for kda and we get cool shiz like this. Might draw up some spiderverse kda soon
